Ladies, you guys are great teachers!!. Your explanations are on point. I have been reading around some IAM concepts to get some understanding because it is an area of cybersecurity I'm looking to make a career change to. I am currently working for a commercial office property where I'm responsible for access management including provisioning and deprovisioning access credentials (key fobs) for tenants using on-premise and cloud-based access control system/tool, reviewing access, handling access requests from tenants HR, User & Group management, Access schedules configurations, Event tracking, Credential management, Incident reporting, Visitor Screening etc. Are these skills relevant in IGA in particular, and IAM as a whole? Can I transfer these skills into say an entry level role in IAM (IGA) and if yes, how? Do I need to take some classes or certification need to make a career change to IAM(IGA), and if yes, where? Thanks. You got a new suscriber.
