@@lkm3s If you don't know, you cancel your cards immediately. You can easily get new ones and the bank will allow you to draw out money from a branch with your passport as ID. The Woman was DUMB from the start by leaving her bag, with valuables in it, with a strange woman that had been watching her enough to make her feel uncomfortable. Who does that??? Every woman I know takes their bag with them to the toilets! 🤔

@@NickyM_0 With identity theft, even if you cancel your cards they can straight up walk into the bank pretending to be you, give fake adress, fake phone number, etc.. Open new account and get money in your name.. Stop being so judgmental on topics you literally know nothing about. You could easily become a victim too.

I’ve been the victim of Identity Theft. I just cannot explain the extent of the extreme damage this causes mentally, emotionally, physically, and much more. It has taken me years to deal with this and it will never fully be resolved. Once your information has been leaked to the dark web (as T-mobile once did to me) you will always be a potential victim. EDIT: It cannot only be about losing your “bag”. It’s also about using your computer and your iPhones.

Be consoled: in Europe she`d have gotten a suspended verdict, because she would be at her first known offence, and in UK pretty similar plus a handshake. So, the four years, (did she execute the whole sentence or she got out after 10 months for good conduct?) The only redoubt that still resist are the US. For how long though? They need harsher punishments for this. I've had thousands taken from my acct because our debit cards kept getting stolen from gas stations luckily we caught it and got everything reversed. Someone ordered medical equipment from India and was having it shipped to my house 🤬 thankfully again I was able to get the info and cancel the order. Now they want central banks and everything electronically 🖕🏻no thanks. Feels like soon we will just have to live off the grid.

I'm so pleased she was able to move on to be productive in society. Had her parents been treated like the non-violent criminals they were, they should have been given sentences outside of prison, including probation, community service, and perhaps weekends in jail which the parents could each go every other week to keep the girls stability intact. Children must be considered in these scenarios, and alternatives to prison for non violent offenders will always be more productive than prison, and if not, they go to prison for not complying.

I see hardly any true penance time for what she did of course she's not feeling guilty at all. The victim is left in the dust mentally, emotionally. Destroyed as well financially etc & this isn't just regarding identity theft it's all the other things I've seen regarding this country. It just blows me away what people get away with in this country with their crimes. People say America's horrible, puts people away for life. Well at one time it was a way to put the fear of going to prison for a long time into the criminal. However, we won't be as well, we're now woke as you & we're doing the same thing you guys are.😢

If a person sees that the police are continually corrupt, I would say that their attitude toward the police is very healthy. This whole program is just huge institutions blaming their laziness and stupidity on this woman's brilliance - she stole because everyone made it easy. She's clearly a bad person, but I would say the police were even worse when arresting her mother as harassment, even the tellers' continual stupidity seems worse, as they did not inform the public that they would fail to use common sense or follow privacy regulations put in place to prevent this. Routine, intentional incompetence needs to be criminalized.

I saw a video abt this same woman in different channel.! She must be a very influential person cause she got the court protecting her name & giving her "community work" as punishment for every violation of the law that she committed. Im completely losing faith with the authorities...

the police ruined her childhood so they are probably trying to make up for it.. plus her mother really turned her life around, so they are hoping the same for this one.. smart women! just need some re-directioning..

Why do women go for loser men that only offer them nothing but a life of grief? I see it over and over.

Maybe some of those women are losers too. But to answer your question their parents and peers tell her to take what she can get and settle for crumbs.

So weird that the wrong woman they arrested and put through all that had the first name Jody! 🥴 Why would have the police believed anything Jody said & spent all those hours following her crazy bs? 🤦‍♀️ She was pretty smart making a video & getting just 4 years sentence after police took 15 years to catch her! Hope the victims got some relief from her capture. 🙏❤️ I truly don’t believe she was rehabilitated!

And here I thought leaving my bags on a plane unattended would be okay. So now this confirms it nowhere is safe to leave your bag unattended.
