In this video of Identity V, I discuss the process of improving as a kiter and how I used this process to improve during seasons 1-4. I still use this process now to improve Identity V strategies. In this clip, I show an experiment I am using as lawyer, how I messed up against Feaster, and what I will do in the future to improve it. Hope you enjoy and thanks for supporting me boo boos.
HOW TO SEND ME FOOTAGE EITHER INSANE GAMEPLAY OR REVIEW GAMEPLAY. THIS HELPS ME WHEN I NEED TO DISCUSS CERTAIN CHARACTERS AND ARE TOO LAZY OR BUSY TO PLAY THEM.
** Rank matches are preferred so please indicate if the match is rank or not.
1. Save the match in-game and record it (do not submit recorded footage that was done while playing unless you are eliminated and wish to show the rest of the match)
2. Change in-game graphic quality to High so it is easier on the viewers' eyes then record it.
3. Show the hunter in the beginning of the match, and each player briefly, so we can see the spawn points.
4. Change characters as they're engaging with the hunter. We do NOT want to see someone decoding the entire game. If you are not actively kiting, show the user who is. We want to be entertained and wish to see all the footage.
5. Save the file in HD 720 or 1080p only.
6. Upload to Google Drive and Google Drive only. Send me the link so I can download.
7. Tell me your in-game rank, whether the match was rank mode or not, and the character I should be looking at. Send me a link to your social media.
8. PLEASE make sure I have access to it.
9. The title of your email, with the google drive link, should be titled "Insane gameplay [character name]" or "Review my gameplay" with a character name.

How to be a better survivor? Play hunter first, for a week or two and you’ll get used to the hunter main mindset and it will be way easier to know your kitting routes and mindgame hunters

@@plaguedoc3526 people are relying on items more than before bc the meta forces them to. you can’t go prisoner against a bonbon/bq/sculptor and expect a good kite to come out of it. a good bq will force you to rely on your item as a perfumer or gravekeeper to extend your kite. not to say people shouldnt learn how to kite without items bc it definitely helps regardless of who the hunter is, but yea. just my own thoughts

@@sssui330 I definitely agree but their items are meant to assist them not have them completely rely on it. I have gone against countless enchantresses/prospectors who just couldn’t kite and rely on they ability. Some hunters do make you rely on your ability sometimes ya but once you learn how to kite them efficiently they aren’t that hard to kite at that point without abilities.

@@plaguedoc3526 it’s not that they’re just “hard to kite”, it’s that you genuinely cannot kite some meta hunters without some of the meta survivors-it’s why they’re meta. it’s kinda the same way you don’t “learn” to counter priestess portals, because there is no direct counter to that except try to kill her asap? i can still agree with what you said tho, i used to main axe boy before the buff and the fact that an enchantress could easily “kite” me without even having to look behind them bc they’d have a stun ready every other second was genuinely infuriating lol.

Whenever I decide to save a match, I always save the ones where I kite for most of the game, or where my team worked very well together to get the win and so I can look back and be proud... I never once considered looking at my losses could help me improve-- Im always too ashamed and frustrated at myself for losing ranked matches so I try to immediately forget about it! This put losses in a new perspective though, so thank you!

What I've realized is that I usually kite better with a decoder than with an actual kiter character for example perfumer because as a decoder you don’t have any items to rely on, you really concentrate on the actual kite rather than on using ur items in time

I do the same with vio i dont throw thr note at the survivor 80% of the time you’ll miss. So i throw the note where I know the survivor wants to go and not like in a window or pallet always most of the time is just well ik you want to go into Hostpital so im throwing my note in that general direction.

It works until you get to a point where the survivor run towards the notes and successfully juke your string and you're left with cooldown and the survivor having speed boost after vaulting or they transitioned to a great kiting area...

Not all survivors use that trait. It is typically only used if there is a harasser on the team. I don’t think let merc waste tt is a good idea. Feaster is a camping hunter and he needs to take advantage of the camping. Giving a free rescue like that just wastes the hunter’s time. Although I must agree teleporting like that is a pretty bad decision.

Oh, I am unsure if he is a "pro." I don't even know how to qualify someone as "pro" unless they've won an official tournament. The difficulty with South East Asia is they have a LOT of hunters chilling in mid tiers. This feaster played amazing with his tentacle placement and I didn't want to limit that by their current rank. I felt like their tentacles were spot on and even knew to place them a bit far away from survivors instead of on top of me where I can circle the base. He did make a boo boo, but I also had max struggle speed. If I didn't, he may have gotten me on that chair as well as preventing that cipher from being popped since it was being worked on (but poppee). If I was hunter, I probably would have chaired and camped and hoped for a stuff. I'm also not a feaster main

In Asia at least More than half of Manticore II and below brings detention even to Hunter's who can live without it like Bon bon, mad eyes, clown, jojo. Just to really clutch. I only met one evil dragon Clown who had detention that caught me off guard and we laughed about it coz I body blocked for merc and I died by the gate as lawyer HAHAH. But it was just unexpected. I love feaster but he should know there will always be one in the shack just from transitioning, especially if your spawn as the hunter is at the statue or next to hospital broken the survivors tend to rotate to the right. that 20 secs do take away a lot, especially with mind's eye on the ground bec no one is over transitioning(which happens to low unicorn and griffin) knowing where the hunter is.
