I think it's because the tea isn't exactly "dangerous". It might be because it's not a direct source of danger and so he's not warned about it. I haven't done that much research on it though so I might be wrong.

Interesting… It’s a Time Line that still follows the whole Hulk vs The Avengers, cause they shipped him off to space and then he got tricked into thinking his earth ‘friends’ were the ones responsible for the death of his wife who the Hulk got on Planet Hulk… (One of the more interesting to me, Hulk story lines btw)
