Ahem, so, Andrew sought refuge in a nearby village, was let in to stay with a very kind family just for one planned night before he leaves for the morn, however the village leaders had some sort of discourse with the villagers, and so barred the villagers into their homes, leaving them trapped in, including Andrew, prolonging his stay. Andrew noted that the disagreement the villagers and the village leaders were having linked to some sort of religion, and the implied fact that the villagers had sinned, which is why they didn’t seem to fight back and turned to God for forgiveness, hence the man’s (man who let Andrew stay with him) prayers. Andrew became aware of some hut hear by which seemed to get a lot off attention. He woke up one morning to see the hut in flames, along with the man who let him stay over. This implies a majority or maybe all villagers were burned (alive) by the village leaders, and Andrew, just a passerby, was perhaps expected to help the village leaders with burying these bodies, hence him being turned to a ward. I don’t think Andrew had a choice on whether or not he could leave without burying these bodies. Not much was said about why the village leaders and the villagers got to this point, other than some type of religious conflict, but that’s all I got.
