Here are the facts in short form: a) Israel led a military operation against a tunnel used to bypass the blockade they imposed in 2007 : two soldiers died, ONE was captured ; b) For that one soldier captured (and later released), Israel killed 1,387 people, amongst which 774 civilians (252 were children under the age of 16) ; c) 5,300 people were wounded (!) ; d) On the Israeli side, 3 civilians died. 10 soldiers were killed... by Israel itself by mistake. Unless someone is extremely racist, or cannot do math, we can see this was not a proportional military response. - I am Canadian by the way and the above are attested facts, that even Israel would not deny.
