It's all about Keep one card with premium benifits and spend all on that cards and get perks. Multiple Cards of entry level decrease benifts in long time. An one things this strategy is very similar to SIM One time every one have 2-5 sim and switch according to their benifit and due to LTF they never recharge. 😁 And we see how things change in telecom industry dramatically. Same things happens in Credit Card industry very soon. Best of luck folk. And i'm also disappointed on this devaluation because i have Wealth card which has access of Patna Lounge. Now spending 20k for only this It's not worth.

Now you cannot think of having cards just for lounge access. Simply speaking, the card has to be your main card with decent spends. Only then can you get the perks like lounge access. The same will happen with movie offers gradually.

But fortunately I saw discrepancies in their offerings on website and documents and withheld the application. Today I got to know about this devaluation. This devaluation has totally destroyed a very good card Select, just as you said 125 rs discount is a waste and for lounge 20k is too much. Very disheartened. Yesterday I got IDFC wealth card for 500 movie and lounge benefit 😅 and today is the news, this will be the second time I have closed IDFC card. IDFC, "tumse na ho payega". Last time while closing select card, ye log mujhe bol rhe the, sir aap spend nahi krte, hum kuch retention offer nahi de payenge, iss baar to mujhe sunna he nahi hai. Bus band krdo card, bhai card me acche rewards hoge tab spend pe tab to koi spend karega. Lagta hai ab debit card is use krna padega. No hassle of calculation, chill life.

IDFC cards were already very poor in terms of reward points. There was hardly any online shopping offers. They were only good for lounge visits. Now that it's also heavily restricted, cards are virtually useless

HDFC Regalia Gold card is a decent card with good lifestyle benefits and return (if you can use Smartbuy extensively). Otherwise in cashback/entry level segment, Amazon Pay ICICI, Cashback SBI, HDFC Millennia, Airtel Axis, HSBC Cashback, HDFC Tata Neu Infinity, and Amex MRCC are great. In terms of travel excluding the likes of Infinia, we have cards like Amex Plat Travel, Axis Atlas, Yes Marquee are good options.
