So if you need it to spin 800 times in a second then the jump rope would be moving at 17600 feet per second which is 12,000 miles per hour. So basically all you would need to do is get your jump rope going Mach 16. Easy enough

It is theoretically possible to stop rain like that but it would need the wires to go way faster. You first have to calculate the randomness of the timing of each raindrop and the speed of the engine. That leaves you with around the speed of sound
