I think Rutt has good products from what I see and from here in NC makes me want to deal with them even more. I think considering you're on a machine that you have never operated before it's doing a fine job. Thanks for sharing this for us to see.

@@AllstarVentures I’m looking at a rut mulcher for my 50G also, any reason not to go with rut? Does it process the material pretty well?
@AllstarVentures2 жыл бұрын
@@batterpm11 you’ll have to take a little more time with it vs. a drum style mulcher but it’s done a great job for me. I like the versatility being able to swap blade carriers. Essentially you’ll have a mulcher and brush hog for less than half the price of a drum mulcher. Also like that it has a grubbing foot on the back of the unit. You’re able to rake stuff to you and pop out smaller stumps 👍🏼 Really comes down to what you’re looking to use it for and the production you’re expecting to get from it for the money 💰

Good product! Only thing is, watch out on what you will be throwing out the front or right side. I was over 300’ feet from my house, and hit it with a rock. Luckily, it missed my window, but dented my cement board siding.

did you consider adding more counterweight to the rear of the machine so when to extend out over the side the excavator doesn't get so tipsy?

Love your videos, I'm learning so much. A huge help in finding the right machine for me, just ordered a brush eliminator. My couplers are in the same place as yours and it measures 24" from the couplings to the bottom of the quick coupler (kubota kx033-4). Would you help me, can you measure the hydraulic hoses and get the length? As you know, the eliminator comes with 8' hoses which would be way too long. Much appreciated, THANKS!

The only thing I don't like about those cutters, any of them; is the flow to the cutter is stopped when you move the other controls. I'd want an independent hydraulic system for the head so it stayed spooled up while moving. I'm sure they're available but you gonna pay for it. That cutter seems to work good for what it is. 👍
@idigit49673 жыл бұрын
Yeah that can definitely cut into production. The new Cat 309 excavator has a dedicated pump for the auxiliary lines so when you are cutting and moving the boom and arm at the same time the cutter won't slow down. I hear it's a pretty nice machine!
@williambryant59463 жыл бұрын
@@idigit4967 Well if Cat has put it on there tractors then the other companies will start doing it too probably. 👍

That cutter set up on momentary switch or constant flow? Mine is momentary and I can let off the switch for quicker response to the other hydraulics. I didn’t think I would like it at first but it’s proven to be very effective once I figured it all out
@idigit49673 жыл бұрын
It has both a constant flow button on the left joystick but you can also work it with the thumb rocker switch if you want to hold the rocker. But I guess you could just hit the button on the left joystick everytime you wanted to cut it on and off I suppose.
