12:22 If she could’ve consistently delivered performances based on this healthy and controlled blueprint, she would undeniably be a part of every “best Elphaba” conversation without any sort of caveats. Legendary Adele Dazeem regardless 💚

27:42 is 13 months later and almost perfect because it’s very much foundational to 12:22. There was some interesting stuff going on leading up to this and it kinda surprised me.

Honestly being the best is subjective nowadays, but the most popular and iconic? It's no doubt that it's Idina
@peterperrylamКүн бұрын
People forget that she developed this role in so many iterations. Aka. Rehearsed it. Previewed. Fixed it. Performed it. Took it to Broadway previews. Fixed it again. and opened it. Won the tony and performed it beyond. Its.not like she had tips and tricks previous elphaba on how to approach to the role.vocally.

I really appreciate that Idina was declaring Elphaba's mind by singing, not just singing a beautifully high skill song. Without those splendor riffing like other younger Elphabas, her performances can make people believe that women in the air "is" Elphaba.
