Keefee did return, just not for the pies. He’s still to this day a listed player at the giants and he’s regularly picked in the senior side. His career highlight is probably beating Collingwood as a giants player in that 2019 prelim final although he wasn’t picked for their gf side despite playing an important role for them in the prelim. Wonder how they lost by 89 pts?

It didn't cost Essendon the game. It was done before the kick was taken - the umpire told him to get down before the kick was taken & the post wasn't still shaking when the kick FELL SHORT.

The interchange cap is a stupid as fuck rule. Scoring was peaking when rotations were peaking in 2013 and then the AFL cut it because they think it'll combat congestion.

Tippet and Essendon likely on a par. Not stoked tippet went to Sydney the following year saying “I just want to play football [for $900k per season and spending most of my time playing tip with the ball].” Probably the worst high profile player Sydney ever -drafted- picked up. Turned out to be the spud of all spuds. F*in joke!

No he wasn't - Brereton....signed on a huge (for the time) 3 year contract - multiple reports....managed 7 games only - dumped after 1 season. 50 disp - 7 goals - 5 behinds - 5 H/O - 9 tackles - 10 Free for - 17 against

The irony is that the rule was put in place because Norfolk didn’t like the rules at their disposal beck when the Swans had an illegal player on the field so the league changed the rules. Perhaps Norf should look into having someone counting the interchanges that can actually count. No one to blame but themselves.
