9:18 yeah that can actually happen, I got taught to always close all fuel lines and on longer cruises even take off gas tank and outboard motor from the dinghi and tie it to the railing of our yacht to prevent runaway engines caused by storm or water spinning the propeller...

Nah, the boat owner's wife's nightmare is buying him the boat only for him to leave it on the trailer for the past 14 years, no lie. I want him to sell the thing because he's never going to use it again. At this point, it has sat dry on the trailer for so long, it's only really good for parts. A lot of wasted money...MY money. Good thing I love him, I guess.

That one stupid diver... Don't dive in unless you know there is enough water for diving is a pretty basic safety idea. Those cases don't always end up being funny, when I was a child one of my cousins broke his back when he managed to dive into an empty swimming pool head first. Three young guys decided to race each other to the pool but didn't know it had been emptied, all three reached it about together and jumped in before they noticed there was no water - it was a very small pool close to the door they came out of, it wasn't obvious before you were nearly to the pool, and they were keeping their attention more to each other than the pool. Two of the guys jumped legs first and survived, my cousin tried for a swan dive. He died. And it was such a stupid way to die that made it, if possible, worse, as otherwise, he had always been a pretty smart guy. I don't know if alcohol was involved, I was in my early teens at that time and nobody ever told me.

Hard loss. It just takes one Mistake. We got teached early to always check the Water you plan to jump in. Open Lakes with murky Water also could have Obsticals in previous safe Spaces one can't see. Never go Head 1. on 1. Jump. People suffer very serious Head and Neck injuries frequently if they not die from this. Best Wishes.

7:05 - the people involved in that incident were severely injured. One passenger had a broken back and the other two passengers had injuries that were just as bad, if not worse. It was the fault of the fool who was at the helm and was definitely nothing to laugh at.
