Game Info - Idle Champions Of The Forgotten Realm
Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is an official Dungeons & Dragons idle clicker game.
Idle Champions challenges players to assemble a party of Champions and master the art of Formation Strategy. Players unlock new heroes, upgrade them to reveal special abilities, and collect epic gear. The key to glory is learning how to combine Champion abilities to defeat an onslaught of powerful monsters.

I just bought 2 familiars (with real money-- They were $4.99 each The Imp and The Barn Owl). Now I can do the Mad Wizard Farming thing (sort of--need one more per your suggestion), but I can spend less time clicking. Yay

Thank you very much for this excellent guide. I started playing ICotFR a couple of days ago, and yesterday I was wondering if it had any mechanics that would automatically do things that required manual clicks. Some of the other clickers I've played in the past had mechanics like this, and I'm glad to see that ICotFR has Familiars. 4:28 If it *increases damage by 900%,* then that means the final damage output is: F = final damage output with the buff, d = current damage F = d * 9 + d Since _d * 9_ is just another way of saying _d + d + d + d + d + d + d + d + d_ we can replace the _d * 9_ in the above equation with it: F = _d + d + d + d + d + d + d + d + d_ + d And since all of that is just another way of saying d * 10, we have just proven that the Huge Potion of Giant Strength increases the damage of all champions by TEN times. 🤓

was going to say, but you beat me by 2 years :) the way I teach others about this is that 100% means TWICE the amount, or TWO times. So 900% would mean 10 times, and so on and so forth.

Most of the information in this guide was taken from my personal experience playing Idle Champions as well as talking to other players. Some was also taken from the Wiki which is slightly out of date but I have hopefully properly adjusted all of that information.

My only issue with familiars is that they aren't that easy to get and rapidly get more expensive for gems. I would really like to have a handful (idk maybe 7-8 max) that are cheaper on gems (like, less than 5k gems each) to help players get grinding more often. My main goal is to have familiars auto-leveling all my chmpions in use + all 6 on the field to click, so a total of about 16 i think.

Some lower range familiars would be great. Most of the familiars I have were part of events for free. Unless you play quite consistently for a long time it's easy to miss the free familiars. Make sure to check the shop every now and then to see if there are any for free, as well as playing the longer 1-2 month events. They often have a familiar that's not too hard to get.

Is it just me or after say area 175/200 they really don't do anything if out on the battlefield...even with pots on them?

Yeah. At that point enemies get waaaay more health every time you finish a level. Familiars can still stun lock them for a while though. Even when their damage can’t keep up. At that point they also become more useful on the ultimate bar. The extra damage and especially Celeste’s mass heal can help you push ahead.

in reference to the clip in 3:30, wherein they spawn from the portal almost asap.. do i need to upgrade something for them to spawn quicker? or is this how it was a year ago.

I just checked in my game and it's still spawning them this quickly for me. You can however use Deekin and Shandie to make things faster. Deekin makes enemies spawn faster and Shanndie speeds up the game, like a constant speed potion.

I'd go with familiars until you have 5-6 of them. They're extremely useful and make gem farming much easier.

You can put it in line with distractions, that way you get a little extra gold/favour. It's also good on a 'Champion Upgrade' button just to keep them up to strength with the current level and saves you from using a familiar to do it.

A boost of 900% means 10x damage not 9x

@@maydeto2191 It is 10x. 100% increase in damage means double damage, or in short 2x. If you are increasing damage by 900% then it is 10x.
