me and my dad have been listening to your music since I was little (im a teenager now). ever since you started making music. we bonded over your songs, especially joy as an act of resistance. we were some of your first fans, he loves listening to newly emerging music and helping them gain popularity. this new album is absolutely amazing and i am listening to it on repeat, this is my favorite song from it. Roy was my granddads name too, so it brings back memories of him (he passed away 2020). thank you for creating phenomenal music and hopefully continuing to. it surprised me when i first heard this album, as its not as shouty shouty idles as im used to, but it suits you. galstonbury 2019 we went to see you and was one of the best live music ive seen (even though i struggled to stay awake!)

I love it when he yells and grunts like an animal in their heavier stuff but his actual singing voice is gorgeous. Joe Talbot is a very special and talented man.

In Crawler Idles gave melody to the harshness of previous albums, in Tangk they took the melody of the first EP Welcome and transformed it into controlled aggressiveness
