ISRAEL: A police officer stabbed, 10 arrested at Tel Aviv protest over hit-and-run case. A woman left Rafael Adana (Rest In Peace), 4 year old Ethiopian Israeli child on the road to die after running him over. I went to Netanya, the city where it happened, to investigate. Ended up trying a new drug.

@@theSalukie (will get to the George Floyd point - - see below) George Soros paid MarxistBLM (which only uses the name black lives matter, but is a MARXIST organization on their website) to hijack an entire race of people, to cause civil unrest in the US. They NEVER helped ONE black person in their entire existence, and are NOW filing bankruptcy because they spent all their money on swimming pools and mansions. Soros HEDGES BETS against Countries across the Globe, and his hedge fund/investments company makes money off of his forced wins and other's losses. Soros nearly bankrupt the Bank of England - - well known - - and the president of the Philippines has banned him from the country and put a price on his head. His own country of Turkey has also forbidden him to enter. There's a handful of other countries that he has FULLY BANKRUPT in the South Pacific and South America. He h a t e s the US but lives in NY, and we haven't been able to stop his evil yet. MarxistBLM using George Floyd to further their agenda was horrific, in large part due to the fact that he was fentanyl-speedballing at the time, which contributed to his inability to breathe. Further, George Floyd had a long criminal record, including holding a g u n to a pregnant woman's stomach, while he and others robbed her apartment. So, a lot of people don't understand how Soros manipulated the world - - but the "blm"/George Floyd example was propaganda, that DIVIDED THE WORLD, EVEN MORE.

I'm American but also a world traveler who likes to go off the beaten path and bond with the everyday locals. I've taken a few photos and videos but I'm too shy to expose myself on KZbin for the whole world to see. I would love to meet you sometime and compare travel stories. @makanmata
@makanmata 9 ай бұрын
Certainly nobody can disagree with this, but what exactly would it mean to hold a 70 year old driver unaccountable for accidentally hitting a toddler being led across the middle of the street in a manner in which it was concluded she could not have avoided them. Of course, she improperly ran away, which shouldn't be condoned, but that doesn't change that it was an accident. Should she be stabbed in the head like the guy in the video said? Retribution is not the same as justice.

Ethiopians are not treated like 2nd class citizens in Israel. The government has put a lot of effort into trying to integrate them but many don't want to immigrate & education is not a priority. Of course there's some racism everywhere, but most Israelis love Ethiopians & many businesses would be proud to have them as an employee.The younger generation that were born here are more successful, but those from Ethiopia don't want to change.

This video made me very interested in this incident so I looked it up. I was surprised to see that there was a full investigation and video identification of the driver - and exoneration of the driver's daughter who was accused of being in the car but who was not - who is 70 years old and hit the toddler as he was being led across the middle of the street (not in a crosswalk (i.e., Jaywalking)) by his grandfather. One can fairly criticize - harshly - the Senior Citizen for not stopping, but there seems to be no allegation that this was anything other than a tragic accident (and one in which the driver might be no more at fault than the grandfather) or that this was done maliciously or, much less, on purpose. During the protest against supposed racism, a policeman was stabbed, and that was certainly no accident. My own suspicion is that the Ethiopian community, the family, and the tragic event are being exploited by those with their own agenda. To me the most disturbing part of the video from an ideological perspective isn't the "racism" which I saw no real evidence of in the video, but the guy Salukie interviewed who wanted Babylonian-style "justice" and for the 70 year old driver who accidentally hit the boy to be stabbed to death! The sad reality is that there are a lot of tragic traffic deaths in the world, and that events like this are much more connected to allowing older drivers to keep driving, and failure of drivers and pedestrians to follow traffic rules, than to racism or a lack of social justice. The video reminded me of the pogrom that was started when antisemitic demagogues in Brooklyn USA premised murderous violence against Jews when a Jewish driver accidentally hit and killed a Black boy. www.timesofisrael.com/family-of-boy-killed-in-hit-and-run-to-be-shown-pic-confirming-drivers-identity/#:~:text=Rafael%20Adana%2C%20aged%204%2C%20was,a%20hospital%20several%20days%20later.

It's simple: on the surface, everything looks nice but if there are racial tensions, as expressed by the guy in the restaurant who says " We ( Ethiopians) are sick and tired of how we are treated" then anything will be used in order to release the accumulated anger.
@makanmata
@makanmata 9 ай бұрын
@@user-no5gz4pc9n Well, I think Jews know better than anybody that not all resentments are based in rational fact, and many resentments are created by self-serving demagogues. Certainly to the extent that the restaurant guy's resentments are based on the alleged purposeful and wanton murder of an Ethiopian child in which the perpetrator acted with impunity and not pursued, when the reality is actually quite different, I hope we can agree that his resentments would be unjustified.

@@user-no5gz4pc9n "Just like Jews" . . . . Ok, now I know where you're coming from. Everybody has a right to feel resentful or any way they please. The question isn't whether they have a right, its whether or not their feeling is rationally justified. To the extent its based upon this event, I suggest that it's not justified, anymore than a resident of Tel Aviv would be justified about resentment against Ethiopians because the cop got stabbed.

@@makanmata What matters is what the Ethiopians feel and live everyday. Whether or not you like it. By the way, I never criticize Jews when they complain and despair about antisemitism. The issue is that you don't like them saying anything because it ruins the narrative of a colorblind Israel.

Good on the yound Russian-speaking Jew for 1. designing the route map and, more importantly 2. insisting on continuing to speak Hebrew - that's the only way to learn, it's difficult for a few months, but, when it's done it's done - better than to be for years being one of those people who make excuses like the anglos who say "I'm not good at languages". Every Israel themselves or their grandparents learned Hebrew - that's what unites the nation, more than religion or politics and creates a diverse exciting pop, film, tv and book culture. Good, interesting video - well done for making the effort and talk to people. Out of interest, when the cafe owner spoke of "refugees" did he mean non-Jewish refugees from Erittrea or Jewish people from the region? What language do the Eritreans speak - Tigrayan ... is that easy for them then to learn Hebrew?

israelis are very outgoing so i think they hesitate less when it comes to commenting on stuff. i also feel like the concept of vloggers/tourists in somewhere like netanya is not the first association for most people. but compared to most americans theyre not as weird/rude when it comes to cameras and also being filmed, most israelis are cool with being in the frame of videos.
