Worked! Thank you! The adhesive is a real pain but you had some good tips to deal with that. I had to basically tear my old back piece off bit by bit, it was ugly. However, same result in the end - nice n fresh.

Aftermarket parts are unreliable for this. We sourced ours within our network of other local repairers although I think Apple sell this part now under their self repair store

iOS 18 fixed this problem for me, my phone always said unrecognized part and after updating to iOS 18 on iPhone 14 it asked me to let it diagnose and finish repair, after accepting it got rid of the unrecognized part and said genuine part. THIS WAS FOR THE FRONT SCREEN ON AN IPHONE 14.

Aftermarket rear glass will give flash photo error and not save photo. Two options. Swap charging coil assembly with IC ribbion chip or use a factory OEM genuine Apple back glass from another phone or from Apple self repair store.

@@RennieAsh it will still have issue because it’s paired to the logic board, he says it’s a pulled part so it’s not from apple and doesn’t come with the pairing service. You need to desolder the original IC and transfer it which he skips, very misleading
