The Russo Brothers said they would be down to direct Batman brave and the bold but instead Gunn gave it to Andy Muscietti who made the flash. While the flash was mid he did handle the Batman aspect pretty well so I’ll give him a chance but bro, Batman directed by the Russo brothers would slap so hard

There’s also Dario Argento who gradually fell off, Robert Zemeckis never recovered after mo cap and cgi became a thing and I don’t think Peter Jackson has made anything besides documentaries after the hobbit And there’s Zack Snyder who got sucker punched and his justice league movie gave us hope before disappointing again

I say Robert Zemeckis fell of the most, he made back to the future 1,2,3, who framed roger rabbit, forrest gump, cast away but he kept on making motion capture movies and never came back from it.

Another one you should mention is Michael Mann, he hasn't really made a good movie since Collateral. Although I liked Ferrari, it's not on the same level as his previous films like The Insider and Heat.
