My God this is like my new favorite song. I can't stop listening. First time I thought, "super catchy, maybe just kind of spicy new wavey joint," but no this band (duo?) is incredible. Each listen I realize how such small verses are just so well layered that they seem to say so much more than their sometimes three words in a line. The hook catches you on the first listen, it sounds like a very simple song, and then you realize when trying to sing it later that the lyrics are harder to recall than you thought. So one must go back and listen over and over and each time I just really got something new. The screech of the guitar riffs really slice into the mix like a car swerving to a tire-screeching brake right in front of you and then boom there's brass instead. I'm just like "oh man I didn't even pick up on how decent this drum is here," over and over. Incredible; a real everlasting gobstopper of a song.
