Thanks for updating the s3 content. I am planning ie stage 1 plus dsg next spring after my warranty is up on my 20 s3. Ie intercooler with piping and turbo inlet also on deck. Really excited to feel the change. The car is fast but i want a little more. I'm on stock 18s and have no issue with ride quality. Roads here in ny are awful.

You're going to absolutely love the power on stage 1 especially with the DSG tune because you'll be able to run the high torque file. Stage 1 is realistically more than enough to really enjoy the car, it's a night and day difference from stock, hyped for you!

Did you end up change going your exhaust setup? I know you were unhappy once you added the resonator after installing the downpipe. Any changes?
@JayChesterman5 ай бұрын
no changes yet, after driving the car for the last 8 months with the current setup i'm actually really happy overall with the sound - it's really chill when just cruising with just enough low end, but sounds aggressive when you get on it eventually i'd like to look at getting an awe switchpath exhaust but they're so expensive, i think the next mod is going to either be front lip or rear diffuser

what year was the s3?

2020, it’s an 8v facelift

would u ever go big turbo
@JayChesterman4 ай бұрын
i told myself i wouldn't a year ago, but i'm definitely becoming more open to the idea haha the drawback is reliability when it comes to going big turbo on these cars, i know there's lots of people who are running them with no issues but it's definitely pushing the stock engine more than i'd like to there's a possibility in a year or two i'll be able to pick up an 8v rs3 when they new gen comes back to Canada and the prices come down 👀so time will tell!

13L/100? WTF, dude? I've got 2014 and it says 8.2L/100, and reports on the app (I use Fuelio) say 8.4L/100. Stock tho. And I drive quite enthusiastically.
@JayChesterman4 ай бұрын
do you do any highway driving at all? 99% of my driving is in town and short trips, so i'm basically getting close to the worse possibly mileage you can get out of the car haha
@OfficialAnekito4 ай бұрын
@@JayChesterman Mostly around town, but like once or twice a week I go to the uni, circa 40km one way. EDIT: On longer trips (like to the uni) I would get like 6.6-7,5L/100, driving rather gently. Still not highway tho, just from town to town, with 50/70km/h speeds. I live in a small town with 170k people. Today I was in a really big city (750k) and traffic there is just a clusterfuck, and I got 8.0 from 127km long trip. If I lived in such big city, driving around downtown would be hellish, with like 9L/100 easily lol

@@OfficialAnekito for sure haha my trips are usually 5-10 minutes max day to day as well which really kills economy I also have a heavy foot just because I like to hear the intake and turbo sounds 🤣

@@JayChesterman Given you've got yours on stage 2, it is, well, reasonable that you get 13/100 with heavy foot :D Wish you many mappy miles and smiles, brother :D
