Bad luck with that engine 😌 But your videos are always great, keep them coming. In your opinion, is the FX K303 a good engine?

Thank you! Sure it is! FX are on the top of wy wish list, I would like to try the k502 and the G501T but those are very expensive engines..

What is the brand and model servo is going bad? Nice retune for the nitro % and outside temperature 💯 - I know it is colder and a bit wet but, I bet it’s nice to have the track to yourself. I always tried to plan my track time with minimal people around. It’s always a bonus. Thanks for another fun vid 🩷

Thanks for the comment Adam, the servo is a WS line servo, from wartelle shop, a former's french champion driver. One of the most popular hobby shops here. He usually sells good quality stuff but there is an issue with this batch of servos

Is that a Savox servo? I had a couple of them do that exact same thing. You need to open it up and put a little oil in the motor, that’s all. There are some you tube videos on it, hope that helps 🤞

Salut Tasty, I'm having the same kind of issue as yours but on an OS speed XZ specIII (20L). Mine is even more troublesome than yours actually the tune is changing from rich to lean to rich again within the same tank. I got some nitro going up to the air filter so I assume a depression was created somewhere but everything seems to be air tight. everybody at my club tried to diagnose but no one could figure what's going on. Next will be replacement of carb Orings and engine bearing.

Salut 👋 The ielasi needs deep retune after every run.. but with some patience it will end up running good. You have a different problem. I wish I had that engine in my hands, I like that kind of challenge. I would say high chances of a defective front bearing. Yes check the Orings, the pinch (maybe overheated), any airleak like a small block crack.

A good video isn't one that shows all is well, it's one that ends in all getting better. Are you interested in knowing what's causing the tuning issues?

As you can see, in some videos I show how an engine runs, in others I check the engines, fix, rebuild and sometimes modd them. As soon as I got home I disassembled the engine and checked the internals, there will be an update on the dusty.

Broke in with bad bearings, need to repair the seal on the piston with some added oil before you try to go at such a pace. It needs a few conservative tanks to repair the piston. Wish you actually got to try a sealed non tampered with engine from Ielasi Tuned. This experience is not the engine’s fault. It’s simply user error. Had you had good bearings from the beginning the piston would have never gotten hurt 😞 please make it public in your videos that this did not come from Ielasi Tuned. Your experience is unique to the 3rd party you purchased the opened box from. Best of luck with the recovery.

I already mentioned in a previous video that I dont belive its Ielasi's fault. But if you check the comments you will see that this is not the only faulty Ielasi engine. I belive that OS original bearings are better than these Ielasi's bearings

Not the case either, the engine comes with an OS rear bearing and Daniele sources the front bearing because the OS front bearing is prone to leaking. Anything done to the engine is to improve over OS. Lastly the engine doesn’t consistently hold a tune, the compression is variable you’ll be tuning all day unless you recover the carbon seal on the piston which was never properly developed due to their being particles from the damaged bearings in the engine during the break in process. What I’m saying is this is not an accurate gauge of this engines performance or capability, and you don’t make it clear in the video that the issue you are having is unique to your experience. It’s very misleading for one of our favored engine models..

Don’t see any other comments regarding a faulty Ielasi engine just about O.S.. and this is what I’m talking about. You’re trying to say it’s the engines fault even though you know how this was purchased and what the history is. You can’t use this experience to gauge this product. A lot of this info especially like pipe selection etc, none of it is accurate because that engine is hurt. It is not healthy. It is one unique scenario. Pinching the sleeve will continue to alter performance and take it further out of tolerance. It will not perform how it is supposed to, but hey what do I know. A lot of people here look at this as a tuning issue, or a finicky engine, but if you’re still adjusting after 2min of running it is no longer a tuning issue. Something is wrong with either pressure, compression, and or a bearing is hurt is how it would be treated. So at that stage I’m taking the engine apart.. just the sound alone is telling me something isn’t 100% but the tuning issue I know that scenario and I understand what happened..

Salut! Jai exactement le même moteur et j ai tout essayer également, rien a faire... J'ai essayé 5 ou 6 échappement remplacé roulement, toujours pareil. Par contre le mien se comporte mieux a 140 degrés C° lol Mon seul O.S que je regrette! Bonne chance ;)

Je me sens moins seul ! Pareil ici je n'ai jamais eu ce genre de problème avec un autre OS, même les moins chers (xrb, b21), avec beaucoup de patience j'arrive à le régler mais au démarrage suivant je peux tout recommencer, c'est pénible....

salut , en 1/10 piste meme problème. Je pense qu'il fait des bon moteurs pour sont team seulement et pour les clients c'est bof bof tu peux tomber au hasard sur un bon dans le lot. Pour moi perso je n'achèterais plus aucun de ces moteurs.

J ai un Dirt et il est génial, celui est décevant.. du coup c'est du 50-50, aléatoire comme tu dis.. je n'achèterai plus d ielasi non plus, il y a bien d'autres options.
