IELTS Reading Hack | Matching Headings 1. You can choose whether you want to do this type of question first or last, but keep in mind you have to grab the gist of each paragraph well 2. Put question marks on those you don't quite sure about, and also remember to check them out later 3. If the heading has the same words with one particular paragraph, it's not likely that's the right answer. The correct headings would always be paraphrased 4. You should read the whole text to get the main idea in IELTS, don't just rely on the first and the last sentences (Just skim it would be fine) 5. Pay attention to paraphrased words and sentences

sometimes, however, the question uses the same word as in the paragraph. One of the possible cases is when the word can not be replaced by any other word. I have seen several times that the heading uses the same word as in the question.
