Hello! There’s something I’d like to ask. Are there cases when instead of making the ‘ng’ sound in a sentence you should make the ‘n’ sound? I’ll give you an example in use, something I find difficult to say. He’s staying in a hotel tonight. (staying in) Speaking of the Devil, there’s your friend. (Speaking of). It’s way easier to say something like ‘stayin in’ or ‘speakin of’. Do you know what I mean? Have I made myself clear?

You're referring to an abbreviated way of speaking. The last syllable is often not vocalised. To have a sharp n sound instead of the ng sound would depend on accent.
