In Japan, usually it's hard to see someone who can speak English at this level. Especially in the place like Kyushu.... Kudos👍👍👍 Ppl here are alrdy satisfied with our environment. So we don't feel the need to learn English, nor do we have the opportunity to practice. She must've studied hard. I'm proud of her as a Japanese!

My exam results came out recently overall I got 7.0 but the thing that is irritating me most is my speaking score. it is 6.0. Actually I explained my answer for every quetion given in both part 1 and part 3. My prunciation is also good.Also, I was capable of answering evry quetion without either asking for clarification or repition. Regardless of these factors, the score is six

Your videos have helped a lot while preparing so as to knowing what to expect and paying attention to little details the examiner might give away. I managed to get an 8 overall with and 8 in speaking. I definetely deserved and 8.5 in speaking( i almost speak like a uk native after years of conversing with many friends there on a daily basis). Problem was i encountered a somehow unexpected question in part 3 regarding globalisation and how it affects certain sectors. I must admit i froze for quite a while... couldn't even answer that in my own language. I know the test is supposed to be taken by people of a certain age, thus a certain maturity, but damn this question did me wrong and i think it cost me a whole point.

Hi Savvas. Sorry to hear that. If you need 8.5 we'd recommend applying for EOR (selecting a remark in all sections). Otherwise well done on the amazing score!

I just received my grades, and it's making me question the accuracy of those mock exams on KZbin. I performed much better than the lady in the video on that day, even surpassing some of the Band 6.5 performances I've seen. Even instructors of my online course conservatively estimated I could achieve Band 6.5, possibly even a 7. Yet, I only got Band 6. Looking on the bright side, my overall score still meets Band 7 standards...

It really depends on examiner. There was a guy in my IELTS class. He got 7.5 for his speaking. But the way he spoke wasn't worthy 7.5. But there was another girl who got 6 for her speaking but her speaking was way more better than that guy

Hi Chris! I'm here for a suggestion. Got my result today Overall 7.5 L-9 R-8 W-6.5 S-7 tbh- I thought I did quite well in writing but the score was not satisfying. Should I apply for EOR? If I get an extra 0.5, my overall band would be upgraded to 8 as well. That's why I'm considering to do so. Shall I chris? What's your opinion?

Those are excellent results. I'm not sure an EOR would be successful here. If you choose an EOR, make sure you choose all 4 sections to be remarked.
