Hi all, just had my IELTS last week Sep 2020 and perhaps it might be able to help with your preparation. Part 1: They asked about if I'm studying/working. Is there any changes to my work? What do I like about the changes? What changes could I see in the places I've lived? Are changes good for people? Part 2: Describe an area of science that you're interested in. (Biology, Physics, Chemistry etc.) What have you learned about the science area that you have mentioned? From where did you learn that? Part 3: (not in any specific order) Do you think Science has an important role in our lives? What scientific invention do you think has huge impact to us? How has the world changed due to contribution from Science? What are the limits to Science could contribute to our world? What do you think the government or Ministry of Education could do to help engage the young people to learn Science? Generally it's rather a specific topic and I didn't really expect that! Haha... I stuttered a bit but managed to talk nonstop from most part of the questions. I scored 7.5. :) Good luck!

Hi all, I had my IELTS last week. I do not remember the exact question but it was sort of like this: What do you like about a house/ apartment you grew up in? What do you like about the house you live in now? How do the two compare? 2 minutes speaking topic on: which foreign country would I like to learn more about, what do I know about the country and how would I like to learn about this country. How does the country differ from the country of my origin? is it good to have a national identity? How would I characterize national identity? and the rest I don't remember. But the national identity got my by surprise, as I am born to an immigrant couple (both different countries) and I am now an immigrant myself :D Good luck!

I had my IELTS exam last week, the question of two minutes was Think about someone special, what you like about that person, and what would you like to do in the future with that person, the topic of the third part was "Do you think children are happier now than decades ago" , why, examples and so on. I got 7.5 Band overall (Academic) 1st attempt, thank you for your videos. PD: in the writing section part 1, instead of a graph, my task was to describe a process (recycled paper), the exam showed me an image with the whole process with Key words

Hello, I want to share my speaking questions for everyone which I took recently August 31, 2020: Part 1: they asked me about my hometown. Was it a good place to grow up? Your current place, is it a good place? Part 2: Describe a good friend who you think is a good leader How you met Why he is a good leader Part 3 (not verbatim): In your country, who is the leader in decision making within the family unit? Why not the mother? (If you answered father, which I did) Would you think family dynamics will change in the future? Should the manager involve the employees in decision-making process? Why or why not? What if the decision fails, who will be blamed? Should employees be given equal importance with the manager? Why or why not? Good luck!

Hi. I’ve just had my speaking test. I’ve been watching your videos for the past few weeks and I thought that’d be nice to share my experience. My examiner asked me about my hometown in the first part, then he asked me about shoes (you have those questions in your videos). In the card I got questions about waiting. What was something I had to wait for a period of time. Why did I have to wait? What did I do while I was waiting? How I felt when I finally got what I was waiting for?. Last part was about instant gratification. How it affects society? And many different kind of questions about this topic. It was tough.

I don't really remember the what I talkedon at each part so tet me just write what I remember I talked about 1. My favourite part of the room as a child 2. What type of house would I like to owe when I grow up. 3. Would I say I like this stage of my life as compared to my childhood. 4. What gift is so precious to me 5. Do I take into consideration people's likes before getting them a gift. 5. A skill I learnt. From who and how it has impacted my life. 6. Is it good to self- learn a skill or from a professional? 7. Is believe that self- skill learning helps in doing better than learning from someone 8. Has the internet help us ? 9. Can someone learn a skill on the internet? 10. Would you say upgrading a skill is better is appropriate?

I believe when you refer to pens, pencils, and office equipment, the word is "stationery". "Stationary" means standing still, not moving.

I received some very challenging questions raised by an IELTS examiner: 1. What are the advantages of living in a tall building 2. Do you think in the future more tall building should be built 3. Does weather affect design of tall building Oh my god. I was very surprised that IELTS designed such really difficult and bad questions, especially the third one.

Just two notes: You wrote Illegible, but you said "eligible". Watch out for pronunciation. That would be considered a mistake. Also, stationery its different from stationary. The second means that something isnt moving. There are also lots of "I" not capitalized in the subtitles.

Is it allowable to be sarcastic while answering ? Albeit, with considerably good English words. e.g. Do you like running? - I'm really not into running unless the body fat becomes obviously visible on my appearance or in case while a street dog starts chasing me !
