Probably the most difficult skill in IELTS is written (followed by speaking, reading and listening, being the later the easiest). I'm facing the exam in 2 days, hope to get an 8.0. Thanks for your time and dedication to do these videos, you are by far the best online ielts tutor.

I was mesmerized when I found it, because I have been in dilemma about choosing from a plethora of KZbin videos. However, it is good to have a channel that can recapitulate all the important things about IELTS.

For ielts writing 7+bands Use cohesive devices like: In addition to this , Moreover, Furthermore, however, although, howbeit, not only but also, nevertheless, nonetheless, on the contrary. Improve your lexical resources(vocabulary). You should know atleast 2 synonyms of 1 word for example: advantage- merits ,pros disadvantage- demerits, cons. Search for videos for vocabs and cohesive devices. For more videos subscribe to my channel IELTS Humera . Then I will upload the video. If you don't get it then unsubscribe from my channel.

So a student at my English course institution insisted that we should interpret what happens beyond the data, like giving analysis or some sort. Whilst the teacher who taught him today disagreed, he still insisted cos he was taught to do that by his teacher in another English course. As far as I know, from a lot of lessons and videos I've watched, we're only supposed to report and summarise so there's no need to give analysis whatsoever. So I rewatched this video to make sure about it, and finding out that my friend and I are right makes me so much happy. Thank you so much, Adam!

There can be a conclusion. Rather than just stating facts, the student should state what can be learned from the chart or graph. Determining some point to the graph shows greater understanding. For instance, one might note that while women checked out the most books from some library in 1990, by 2000 it was men who checked out the most books.

I'm not going to take an IELTS, but for my surprise it's been a very interesting video. ) And despite quite quick manner of speaking it's been pretty easy to me to understand almost everything that've been said there. And this is the proof of usage of every day studies of English. Every month I understand english speech better and better. And I'm very happy of this result. )

라김래 Thank you! For listening, try listening english songs in a noisy environment like streets etc. so that you can hear what they are saying. Also, if possible you can sing along to improve your speaking. For reading, read some good newspapers and read them aloud which will help in your vocabulary and speaking skills. Try to intonate and enunciate properly while doing that. For writing, try the IELTS guide that you can get freely over the internet. Also, try writing some essays of your own. Good handwriting is a must! For speaking, if you don't have someone to practice with then practice talking to yourself in the mirror so that you can see your mistakes. English is a language that requires opening your mouth a bit larger than some other languages that I know. Also, speak from the listener's perspective. Also, many people don't mention this: a positive body language goes a long way in effective communication.

Dear Adam, a correction in the video @ 5:53 min, you seem to be using the wrong word to describe the coordinates of a graph. You are using AXES instead of AXIS. Axis represents the geometry, whereas Axe(s) means a tool used to chop trees.

Axes is the plural of axis.
