for me i was always not a fan of the truthear zeros, definitely just felt like guns were too strong for me especially like the flatline in apex. just had a hardtime listening to that for an entire game. But i liked them for music a lot but i think ive landed on the EM6Ls as my go to for the foreseeable future right now, still might swap back to the dunu Kimas once in awhile for watching movies or something like that, cinematic sounds a little better on those for me

If you’re able to push for the hd490 or the Arete or canon 2 I’d recommend those for the 250-350 price range. The hd490s a little more expensive of course. I do prefer the 560 over the r70

@@FreshReviewsYT Unfortunately, the HD490s have a massively inflated price in the UK for some reason (like 550 USD equivalent) whilst the HD 560s and Supermix 4s are only like 150USD. You can't get the Arete's or Canon 2's over here at all without importing (so also a v inflated price). Would you say the 560s are the best choice then over the Supermix 4s? I find both headphones and IEMs equal in comfort so that isn't a factor for me.

r70x are still top tier for imaging and layering, they have one of the largest and most "open" sound stages which really help to position footsteps.

@@djimty I’ve tried a few. I think PUBG you don’t want too much bass. I have been happy with ie200’s (with aftermarket cable) and recently picked up Beyerdynamic 770 pro x. I know fresh does not like ie200 but probabaly my favorite IEM. Shrimzy is using EM6L.

Out of the dacs you listed which one would you go for reliability for iem? I have ifi uno and it has some issues with sound cutting out and audio pops. Firmware hasn’t fixed it. Support said send it back but if nothing wrong then it is on your cost.

Got the Crinacle Zero to try IEM's out... I do like the sound profile a ton compared to my DT770, however I feel like putting them on is really tedious. Is there any 200-300€, good closed back headphone that is ranked highly on the Wallhack tierlist, or should I rather get 200-300€ IEM's and just face it? I do like the way they cancel noise, as my setup is next to a busy road.

Hello sir, I have an R70X and it sounds amazing but it seems that this is limited in sound. (if you put it directly to pc desktop motherboard) i found myself while gaming that i have issues hearing footsteps unless they are 1 meter away. Hi, I got some orchestra lite which are great and I ended up getting the Xenns Mangrid Top which I just received and well I don't know why but I prefer the orchestra which have a more crystallized sound I have impression and gives me better details / info regarding the footsteps on CS2... I thought I had made a good choice to get the top Xenns according to your list, well I'm going to have to send them back :( .. I'll follow up on this, so I've had it for a few weeks now, KZ PR1 Pro with ddHiFi TC35M2 dongle DAC. I can pre aim perfectly with this, I know which floor they're on. The only downside is I know it'll be better with more capable amplifiers/Dac, planars benefit greatly from high current capable output stages and low noise

Why do you think Zero Blue is better than Red? I felt quite differently when comparing. The directional imaging is the same, but the Harman boost makes distances sound too short on the Blue and the more aggressive tuning forces me to use a lower volume on the Blue as well.

It is nothing like having open back headphones even with my raptgo hook x hbb even though they are semi open. Once you get a good seal they do a good job of isolating sound. The ratpgo do let in a bit more than normal iem but not much. Depends what you are doing. If I don’t play any sound I can have a conversation easy. After a while of using iems I prefer it now to having open backed sound. I still prefer open back headphones to closed headphones but iems are the perfect middle ground. I think there are some audio dacs that let you have an external amplifier to hear your voice so it plays the sound back through the iem. I haven’t tried it but it might have been a feature of one of streamer audio mixers but I forget the name. I was looking into it myself at one point but you get used to it. I mentioned above to someone else if you get ear tips with pressure release like the divinus velvets it can help that feeling by releasing the pressure from having the iem in. It probably won’t make hearing external voice but playback mix would be what I would choose. Only way is buy a cheap iem and try get used to it.

@@jakf101 youre describing "mic monitoring", which you can do in windows, under mic properties and checking the "listen to this device" box. no need to buy extra equipment.

@@KaibillKaan from when I used mic monitoring in windows it can add a delay which a lot of people find annoying so I think that is why people turned to hardware to reduce that. Depends how much you want your voice to be in sync with everything.

I tried a lot of tips and out of all of them the divinus velvets are the best. Beat the jvc spiral dots and azla tips. The dunu s&s tips are interesting too but I can’t say any come close to beating the divinus for me on seal and sound.
