I use the cp 145 Spinfits. They're cheap, and come with 3 pairs. They're great for the Zeroes. I don't even notice the shoutiness with em. Quick tip. When i used a smaller size tip, it sounded shouty because I didn't get a proper seal, and even the bass was leaking out. With the medium size, for me it is a perfect seal. @@Krotexx they probably perform close enough to each other that you wouldn't really notice much of a difference, but I doubt the performance on IEMs that are cheaper than full-sized over ear headphones would perform better than your 58x, especially when 58x are open backs designed for gaming.

@@Krotexx I think a lot of whether an IEM performs just as well as headphones or not also depends on the sound design of the game. Personally, the Truthear Zero original feels like they perform pretty much on par with gaming headphones from Razer, but with much better tuning. So if you wanted to move into IEMs for better comfort then I would say go for it. I bought those headphones and was super excited since my old pair died(one ear stopped working). However, after using them for a bit I feel very disappointed. I'm not an expert or audiophile but my previous pair SoundMagic e80 sounded significantly better. The sound in Zero Reds seems to be so dry, the gunshots lack depth. I can barely understand what's happening on the map when I'm playing CS2, and that wasn't an issue with e80 at all. And I have to press them so hard in my ear at least to get some quality but it still sucks. It kinda feels like a waste of money.

I can play this sound on my iphone speakers and it will be very similar. But with Zero Reds it's suddenly very sharp and pitched idk how to explain this better. I am currently using arctis nova 7 (wireless and it by-pass my crap ALC887 as onboard audio), for better sound quality its a overkill to buy soundblaster G6 or FiiO K11 ?. Yes these external audio solutions are 2x the price of these iems, but these products have long lifespan.. So is the difference in gaming / movies much better or its just overkill and will be better to buy some cheap dac /external sound card ?

My 10 cents here: I use the OG zeros for gaming, they simply work amazing and better for it, clarity and positioning with good immersion. I use the Reds to listen to music and watch movies, they are GOD like for that purpose, since you can rock full volume and enjoy the entirety of it. The Reds for gaming are nice, but the positioning, the 3d, are not there compared to the OG. Only use if the game is not competitive.

yo. i ordered zero og and cable tripowin altea.( this is cable no worse than tripowin zonie? ) for competitive valorant. Honestly, overpaying 18$ is not a problem, the main thing is that the sound is no worse. can u answer? and in the video with og zero u used altea. i decided not to deviate so that your comments are the same for my setup.i also saw that you advised zonie. so i decided to ask if altea is worse. and what need 3.5 mm or 4.4 or 2.5? 3.5 shit? or can take 3.5?

The cable you ordered should be fine.

Hi! I'm planning on buying the OG Zero for gaming but I'm new to IEM. is it okay to just connect the OG zero to the pc or do I NEED to buy a DAC/AMP?
@FreshReviewsYT Жыл бұрын
I use an amp dac. Most on board audio is chalked
@djag-2001 Жыл бұрын
@@FreshReviewsYT Would it be the same to use the OG truthear zero plugged in to my pc or would it be worse, and if there is a difference, how much? because if i have to buy a 200$ amp dac, that kinda eliminates the idea of it being "budget"
@dwight2310 Жыл бұрын
@@djag-2001 on board sound cards often have a high output impedance, this will change the sound characteristics of low impedance headphones of which most iems belong too. It can make the bass feel muddy or the mids and treble over/under emphasized.

nice! i got the OG Crinacle Zero a few weeks ago thanks to your input and they fit great with stock medium tips (ngl i feel like the controversy regarding the "wider than usual" stem is massively overblown, my ears are tiny btw). Would you say the moondrop LAN is in your TOP 3 below $60?? my friend wants to get into IEMs but he could not stand my Zero after just a few minutes (again i do feel the wide stem issue is overblown anyway but he did say it wasn't too comfy for him) so perhaps the LAN would be a nice compromise? mostly gaming and YT videos btw, he barely listens to music.
@exactom6320 Жыл бұрын
That’s interesting. I got the og zeros early on in my iem journey and I didn’t love the wide nozzles. Now they feel great in my ears. I think you just get used to wearing iems after a while
@FreshReviewsYT Жыл бұрын
Top 3 below 60 would probably include the lan

hey, i was really wondering if i could use the crin zero OG with my DAC dragonfly black 1.5 or would it make it worse? :o great review btw love the gaming focused approach as well as the music listening aspects!

@Fresh Reviews, thanks for your review, was hoping you'd review this. Without the impedance adapter, how would you compare the Zero Red to the TKZK Ouranos in terms of gaming? I realize that the Ouranos aren't on your recommended list, but you seemed to give it an OK. I'm looking in this price range and do more music listening / movie watching than gaming, but want something great for everything. These 2 are at the top of my list right now.

Hmmmmm they’re both about equal in that regard. I still think it’s the best in the range. The new planar from kiwi ears could be great for immersive gaming

Thank you for your insights Fresh. Now I've watched most of your IEM reviews, and I narrowed it down to the Moondrop Aria and the Truthear Zero OG/RED. However, I still can't decide which to choose from the two as my main use for it will be for competitive gaming like Valorant and CS:GO. Music is second (although it's still a priority to me). Any suggestions?
