This right here Mr. John, is how God wanted us to live. He created a garden and put the man in there. He told man how to live from the very beginning. There was no poverty or riches or any of such. It was man that created this system that oppresses the many to serve the few. I am tired of living this career life. It is exhausting and draining. I really want to go back to how God wants us to live.

I lived for 2 years on a 480 acre (American acre) farm with 16 others. One lady's brother kept a bee operation but didn't live with us. Life was very good. We met in the mornings at 7am to start the day's chores. People enjoyed different things...some ALWAYS gardened. Some liked fixing stuff, some loved the animals (58 beefalo, walking ducks, chickens and cats....oh! 2 goats for milk). Though there was ALWAYS work there was rarely stress and pressure. You can't make strawberries or cabbage grow faster. After berry picking we always hit the rope swing over the pond to cool down. We divided our time between: 1.Projects (repairs, new construction, maintenance ) 2.13 acres of Gardens + orchards. 3.Free time and study. Duty took me away, and now the people have changed faces, but they've tripled the gardens and offerings. Life is WAY better barefoot. We were officially "off duty" at 4 pm.

The city I grew up in was self sustaining in agriculture. There was good food everywhere. Road side farmers markets were everywhere. Then they poured concrete over the farms and built factories and condos. Now we import terrible food from thousands of miles away. Everything is more expensive, crowded, we are stressed out, detached from nature and no time. The corporate restaurants are full feeding stressed out people junk. The hospitals are full and drug companies are making a lot of money.

My answer to these questions would be: 1) if all people become farmers (using the correct way of farming) then all costs of our world will come down because nobody is jacking up prices trying to get rich and our world will have so much abundance in food that nobody will be hungry, and 2) all people will have extra time during each day to pursue hobbies or care for their family members...3) there won't be wars because nobody needs to take others' land to feed their families. That's what our world will become if all people become farmers...

It'd be the best thing for the planet if we had as many people put gardens on their plot. Everyone will have there own interest but with the runoff water, especially the overuse in US, it can be used to sustain a decent garden for self-sustenance. Natural resources, even drinking water, will have the highest value if money were to lose it's worth. The alternative of depending on corporations forever to farm for us is NOT the answer. It takes so much energy to process and transfer commercialized food. The people who made these disagreeable comments are hard sold on the idea of convenience of commercial goods being available and money always holding it's worth. Thanks for your channel Jandai 🙏

If we understand farming and gardening is a lifestyle, a part of daily activities such as cooking, doing exercises or playing, not a career, then it could be wonderful iif all are farmers. Then there could be plenty of all kinds of healthy professionals - healthy govenors, healthy businessmen, healthy service providers, healthy artists ... (healthy here is not just about the body)

Most people don't comprehend what you've saying because it was not taught to them in school or by their government. Make as much money as you can and you will be happy they are told, and the fear of not having money to buy things is what drives their lifestyle. So when that system fails as in the present world conditions, they're lost and fear of living as you suggest causes panic. The reality is that no one person can produce every item required for living so we need to trade.

I'm quite disappointed to hear my fellow Singaporean's comments, (but I'm not surprised tho) I think you do not have to explain anything at all to those who do not understand you, they never will. I totally agree with ALL you have been saying over the years. I recollect once you said people like rules & regulations, then they do not need to think for themselves. Quite a lot of Singaporeans are like that, sadly if I may say so. I have been listening to you for quite a while now, what you say - it makes perfect sense to me. This is the way to live... to be self dependent & to practice co-operation (not competition) is our only way forward. I do hope I get to meet you soon. A story somewhere in Italy: A boat was docked in a tiny Calabrian fishing village. A tourist complimented the local fishermen on the quality of their fish and... asked how long it took to catch them. "Not very long" they answered in unison. "Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?" The fishermen explained that their small catches were sufficient to meet their needs and those of their families. "But what do you do with the rest of your time?" "We chat in the piazza with friends, fish a little, play with our children, and enjoy time with our wives. In the evenings, we go into the village to see our friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing a few songs. We have a full life." The tourist interrupted, "I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you! You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat." "And after that?" "With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. You can then leave this little village and move to Milan, London, Los Angeles, or even New York City!!! From there you can direct your huge new enterprise." "How long would that take?" "Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years." replied the tourist. "And after that?" "Afterwards? Well my friend, that's when it gets really interesting," answered the tourist, laughing. "When your business gets really big, you can start buying and selling stocks and make millions!" "Millions? Really? And after that?" asked the fishermen. "After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, play with your children, catch a few fish, enjoy time with your wife and spend your evenings drinking and enjoying your friends." "With all due respect sir, but that's exactly what we are doing now. So what's the point wasting twenty-five years?" asked the Italians. And the moral of this story is: Know where you're going in life, you may already be there! Many times in life, money is not everything. “Live your life before life becomes lifeless”

When I first heard ,some years ago that China was getting rid of the one cow , pig , chickens and grow your own life style and going for big industries. I felt very sad for them. The truth is that the western countries who have had the big controlling industries, were moving away form it and going back to a more simple life style . The Homestead communities in the US and Australia are growing in popularity. People are sick of working 12 hour days only to have the cost of living rise all the time and never to see an end to that life style. China are a very brain controlled people.
