Its very pretty fabric. I'm glad you took the first dress apart and made something you'll wear this summer. It looks light weight and summery ( if that's a word). Really nice 👍

Summery most definitely is a good word to use. I received the fabric and couldn't understand why I bought it because it wouldn't really be my choice. So I'm guessing I bought it from one of the cheaper companies and once in the past they sent me the wrong fabric so I'm assuming that's maybe the same thing they've done. 👍😉❤️

The fabric is very pretty and what a good way of reusing up your stash of something you had made and unpicked, You had some patience keep trying on the top and re fiddling and adjusting, so many times ,😅 some of my patience would have gone out the window before reaching the end,you deserve a well deserved pat on the back love to you Brian and your fur 🐈 😻 🐈‍⬛️ 😺 🐱 😸 x ps we have the most lovely sunny day here today long awaited but very cold here on Anglesey xx

I think everybody, at least on the east coast of the UK is fed up with the rain, rain, rain. Even my car is starting to go green around the windows!😂😂😂 we went to a barbecue yesterday for our granddaughter's 10th birthday party!! thankfully it was just her dad and his brother who spent the time outside in the rain barbecuing the meat. the rest of the family sat inside chatting away to each other whilst waiting for the lovely food to be brought in. one day soon, hopefully, we might get a sunny day where we can actually be outside for a barbecue. And re: the garment that I recycled. I think in another life I would have just bend it but we're being educated to reduce and recycle so I felt it necessary to make some use of it. 😉❤️👍

@michoumakes I have some fabric sat on the table to cut up for bunting since last year for the garden, and I promised myself that it would be ready to go out when the weather was better Don't think I'm going to need it lol I'm trying to be frugal too,Hazel made me think about it some years ago,she has an amazing head of turning nothing into something lovely 😍 Fingers crossed we don't have to many soggy barbecue days a head of us x

thank you Victoria. to be honest when I received the fabric I couldn't understand why I picked it because it's not really my kind of fabric. however, there is one company buy cheap fabric from that has on the rare occasion sent me the wrong fabric so that's possibly been what's happened. Nevertheless, it turned out better than I expected so I'm happy with that. 😉👍❤️

I think to get the look you wanted for the frill it would need to be cut in a round or at least on a bias.

Top looks lovely….as all the vloggers say it’s all in the styling, we really shouldn’t make judgements until the garment is finished and we are dressed properly. I fall into that trap all of the time. I hope Brian is well. X

thanks Max. Brian is well and yes I agree, don't judge the garment until you've completely finished it, checked it, hacked and tweaked it a bit and then see what it's like. I must admit that once upon a time I'd have probably binned the fabric and started again with some other fabric. But we're being told to reduce and recycle so I felt it necessary to reuse it. 😉👍❤️
