You know, I have an even more infamous example (I haven't bought an EA game since Tiberium Wars back in 2008 for good reasons). I don't know if anyone here has played a game called Crime City, but here's the shit they pull and if it was implemented into Azur Lane: -lootboxes are timegated and if you want to guarantee a successful opening, you HAVE to spend money (so imagine being only able to open gold/rainbow crates with gems AND you can only unlock 1 per hour. To ramp up the controversy, you can only build 1 ship a day unless you know, surprise surprise, pay up with money) -almost all the good loot and equipment is only acquirable through money and they get powercreeped fast (SSRs aren't acquirable unless you use gems) -"Clan battles" are basically a competition to see who is dumb enough with their credit card -every single event with good loot is impossible to finish without spending money, whether it is to kill some major event boss or a point accumulation competition There's probably more asinine shit but I uninstalled that garbage god knows how many years ago. GREE, if you're reading this, STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM AZUR LANE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
