I have no idea why the crew doesn’t have a training day where Sanji shows them how to sky walk and jimbei teaches them haki or something like that. This where chopper supposed to be at I feel,

Even if they had a training day every week, they still wouldn’t be able to use anything since every arc takes place within a maximum of like a month or two from each other. Fishman island, punk hazard and dressrosa all combined makes up about a week since the crew reunited. Zou and whole cake island was around a week as well. Wano is the longest amount of time the crew has ever stood on an island with them being there for over a month. All of post time skip is like 3 or 4 months so far. Neither haki nor the 6 powers are so easy to learn.

If only Chopper's fight with Kumadori had resulted in him learning the Rokushiki and the Life Return techniques. Lucci already proved you can use Life Return to alter Zoan shapes so that means Chopper could probably do a lot. Heck, Chopper even mentioned during that fight knowing about 'Bio Feedback' which was something like the Life Return technique Kumadori was using. It was all set up so perfectly but then our boy Chopper got turned into the mascot character.

One Piece if Oda wasn't scared of giving real fights and power ups to the other Straw Hats. Feels like back then Usopp, Franky, Nami, Brook, Robin and Chopper had proper challenges and therefore development of themselves and their skills, but as timeskip came they sorta got pushed aside. In Onigashima, from those i mention, only Robin had a proper fight like actual Enies Lobby vibe, Nami and Usopp just run from for Ulti for god knows how many chapters before she gets Zeus to finish Ulti, Franky's fight against the dino guy barely felt like a real fight it was just a 1 chapter finish hit. there wasn't any writing attempt to make it feel like it evolved franky and Chopper pretty much got cast as a background merchandise selling character with 0 fights aside touching Queen once, he does get to help cure the oni plague, which felt like just filler to make onigashima extra long, but even so it's not the same way oda used to develop chopper. Brook has just been pretty much a background support as well for most of the timeskip, he had some really amazing moments in wholecake so i would say his situation is at least better than the others, Nami did in fact stole Zeus which improves her title of cat thief but her fight just felt so unjustified with almost everyone dealing a blow to Ulti before she got the finisher.

for the less powerful straw hats in onigashima, chopper is just pure support it's not anything crazy of a narrative he's just helping people which is kinda meh as hes being more of a helping figure in the narrative now, nami and usopp straight up just run for most of the arc before nami deals final blow to Ulti, Franky just defeats the dino guy without any struggle or character evolving, Robin was around the only that had proper narrative and rewarding power up. I also really miss chopper having to surpass his limits in order to survive his matchups.

People always claiming this are delusional or numb. There is no mangaka alive able to be 100% skilled to master every aspect of its story, from plot, character development, story, world building, etc. The only one that has been able to exceed and succeed on this was Mr Kentaro Miura, but aside him there is no one close to him. Even Mr Miura had plenty of time to develop its story and every aspect of it compared to Oda. Oda cant keep up with so many things for a WEEKLY manga.

Why does this just make so much sense? Like physical health is the goal of every doctor, which can definitely play into Chopper pushing his physical limits and learning the Rokushiki, but maybe the Hito Hito no Mi also helps him learn physical abilities humans can do similarly (but nowhere near as busted) as the Sharingan. I feel this works on so many levels to keep Chopper competitive in combat

If some of the Straw Hats learned rokushiki it would be a very interesting power boost, Sanji for example already uses geppo, but what if I learned Rankyaku, he would have a slightly more versatile combat, probably combining his cuts with diable janble , chopper would be much stronger for sure, I think that to the point of defeating Queen it is an exaggeration but it would definitely be strong, Robin would be interesting, Nami would at least learn Geppo and Soru would already be more versatile, especially in your escapes with Ussoap lol, and if Ussoap at least learned the same things from Nami it would help, I always loved the idea of ​​the Straw Hats learning but I think it's difficult for Oda to do that.

Holy crap, this is amazing! As much as I still think Robin would benefit the most from the Rokushiki style due to her powers, I do see Chopper benefiting from this style as well if utilized with his point forms and it shows pretty well in this animation (although I wish he used Rankyaku in this too but no biggie)! Absolutely fantastic animation, I used to think Chopper needs Haki the most, but you changed my mind. If Usopp can have Haki, Chopper should get Rokushiki. It'd be too good an idea for Oda to just pass up, Chopper's forms are perfect for this: Walk Point + Soru/Geppou Heavy Point + Jusshigan/Rokuogan/Tekkai Jumping Point + Geppou/Rankyaku Guard Point + Tekkai Arm Point + Shigan/Rokuogan Horn Point + Tekkai Kung Fu Point + Shigan/Rankyaku/Kamie *_AND IMAGINE A MONSTER POINT JUSSHIGAN (TEN-FINGER POSTOL) OR EVEN ROKUOGAN._*

Imagine Sanji's party table move where he spins upside down, but using these kicks as rankyaku, sending cyclone slices in every direction. There's such a huge, untapped well of ideas Oda could make use of when applying rokushiki techniques to the direct physical fighters of the crew like Sanji or Chopper.

Honestly, Chopper would do well with Seimei Kikan. Besides the hair-manupulation working well for many of his forms, he could apply his medical knowledge to constantly treat his wounds and fight off illnesses and poisons. Also would help him expand the adaptability of his various forms with the shape manipulation (see Lucci). Also give him a power different than the usual haki power up. But if haki, Observation would be great in expanding his "Scope" ability to identify enemy weak points as well as diagnose a patient near instantly by 'listening' to their body.
