In second grade my teacher did that shrinking water vapor thing with a thick metal 5gal bucket there the lid had one of those screw in bungs like the 55gal drums, the thing imploded , loud and fast , and it took some time before it went , surprised all of us.. I still remember. I haven't seen metal 5gal cans with a threaded bung in a long time.. I think it was some nasty paint solvent not used anymore that would have melted plastic... Can you still get one of those cans, no dents? Later on I saw it with a 55gal drum , it wasn't as impressive, the thing already had dents so it went slow and steady without the drama and they didn't get all the air out because they couldn't safely heat up something that big enough around kids...a letdown actually.

I get my metal cans online, except I use smaller versions: 1 gallon cans

@@TommyTechnetium yeah, got to get at least those, soda cans fall flat.😏
@petevenuti7355 Жыл бұрын
@@TommyTechnetium the 5gal ones do not have flat faces, and tend to be stiffer so the collapse is more sudden, dramatic, that's my hypotheses anyway . Happy new year!

@@petevenuti7355 I've done a 55 gallon can twice. Both times when it imploded it sounded louder than a gunshot. Very impressive when it works. I'm sure you've seen the video of the imploding rail car...?

@@petevenuti7355 I'm going to have to try to get my hands on some 5 gallon cans. Thank you for the tip, and Happy New Year as well! 🎆

Hello sir I have a question is there any chemical or liquid combination can make automatically fire matchstick from somedistance of chemical like this vedio kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZSpgZ1ql8RgkLs

There are indeed some concentrated acids that, when dripped onto the head of a match stick will cause it to spontaneously ignite
