These legacy studios still don't understand how social media really works. When Warner took down Meatcanyon's Wabbit Season video and he responded with a funeral video for the death of Bugs, his channel subs exploded from a few hundred thousand to seven million. Walt Disney probably would be a bit different in that regard if he lived nowadays instead of then, just as someone like Bob Iger very probably would be on the wrong side if he was the head of Disney way back when Walt was. Big difference is that Walt Disney was actually very creative and surrounded himself with the very creative and talented people and made groundbreaking stuff, while the Disney company nowadays is just soulless trash and buys other successful companies ip’s and stuff and then turn them into 💩. Suggestion: Comic book conventions were honest. Comic Con International started out as a small gathering of comic book artists and enthusiasts in a room in the US Grant Hotel. Aspiring comic book authors and artists could display their work and make connections with big comic book publishers.. Now Comic Con has turned into a huge multimedia, gaming and toy event. There's little room for aspiring comic book authors writers. Your parody can be all about Roger Con.

Yes, it was pretty funny! 😅 🌈 I will have share this with the non-binary people I know. They'll get a kick out of that joke! Some companies will do anything for sales. They don't really know, or care about social issues. Some things have become completely ridiculous like that. And the 'Gay Death Star' 😂. Maybe we can all unite in the absurdity of capitalism. The funny thing about Steamboat Willie is it isn't really in the public domain because parts of it are still protected Disney trademarks or are part of valid copyrights. For example: - The name Mickey Mouse. - The mouse character design and the whistle he makes at the boat's wheel. (it's used as part of the branding for Disney Animation Studios so it's a trademark.) And trademarks last indefinitely as long as the company keeps using it.

I would say you are correct on that as many of the things people talk about being appropraited are actually part of many cultures in some part. its the nuances that put a cultural spin on it that seem to make a cultural difference like flat bread and pan bread many cultures will claim their own but the recipies for such are based on such ancient recipies that no one really knows who really gets the credit.
@Mikethemerciless11

@@Lickymaballs Well, I live in France, and if you ask them, they will tell you that they invented food, and that the rest of the world "culturally appropriated" eating anything edible. That's a joke, but there's a bit of truth to it; the French invented cooking as we know it. Yet, they are not afraid to share, and don't care, really, if they don't get the credit. For instance, Beef Stroganoff was invented by a French cook, as the story suggests. Chicken Kiev, most sauces, soups, and fricassees are French in origin, and if you cook a recipe requiring wine, it's probably French in origin. They don't make a big deal out of it, so long as you do it right.
@Lickymaballs

@@Mikethemerciless11 well said, as that is the point that everyone should just share things that way. and maccaroni and cheese was made in france and yet it is eaten all over the world and the country that eats the most maccaroni and cheese is canada. i guess canadians have a taste for french food
