I love EVERYTHING about this. If I could pick out a few things in particular. I'm only kind of a drummer, but most of these things have a lot to do with drums. Lol! 1- Your use of odd rhythmic phrasing is a great homage to the heart of the original. 2- Your use of dividing and multiplying time just feels sooooo good isn't particularly jarring to me. super dope! 3- Your use of snare flams, is sublime. The placement feels so effective and your drum parts over all are just great! 4- The minor 4 you snuck in there melted my heart. Honorable mentions would include your guitar lines, the netflix trailer piano note drop, your vocal performances and the mix. If I could be negative for a minute, I know you were playing the form of the original tune, but on first listen, it did feel maybe like you coulda possibly cut it down a bit for the sake of it being "pop punk". Lol!! But yea, everything about this feels so right. I'll be listening to it again and again and again. Thank you for your art, man!!
