What if the reason that nobody pays attention to Eddie’s death is because they’re all aware he’s alive (he left the upside down and found dustin during that 2 day jump) and they’re just hiding him. Dustin tells Eddie’s uncle that Eddie died to fake his death, so that cops no longer look for him, but gets emotional having to be the person to do it.

Bro, I was attached to Eddie and was sad when he died. However, I clearly wasn't that attached as I don't seem to like this theory. It isn't that I hate the idea of Eddie coming back, but this is some twilight and river dale level stuff and I don't want Stanger Things to be ruined by that if this happens. That thought makes me rather him stay dead. Who knows, if the Duffer brothers decide to take this route, maybe it will turn out well. EDIT: I am not saying that the theory isn't plausible/possible, I am saying I am unsure about it. I loved Eddie and I was sad when he died, but I am very unsure about this happening. I cannot take any river dale levels of weird.

I loved Eddie and most fans did too and we (eddie fans) probably cried a lot at his death scene . But him being back would ruin a lot. He would come back and that would ruin his death that many fans cried over. He would be a vampire and against his friends. Eddie will be Vecnas puppet and Eddie would almost murder his friends and have an "almost" death again? I also think he wouldn't have a normal life because he would be thrown in jail for the rest of it. I need him to somehow be in s5 maybe a flashback would be okay. Eddie deserves to live but not in jail. But hopefully Eddie and Chrissy are both in heaven together they deserve to be together. I love Eddie so much and great job too Joseph quinn his acting was perfect:) I love Stranger things.

Theory:in dnd when they defeat vecna and when they say kas killed him is exactly what would happen So meaning that Vecna might be still alive and when they are trying to defeat the other evil, you know what happens either vecna regenerates his other arm or he kills them with pyschic power

I don't like how some stranger things characters come back to life or..they're "actually not dead at all", but Eddie is an exception. I want him to come back. But personally...I don't want him to come back as a vampire, I mean...stranger things is already sci-fi fantasy, but idk...vampires?..doesn't sit right with me. Eddie coming back as Vampire feels like it's 100% made by fans (which is true but what I mean is..it feels like it's straight out from fan fic) I want him to be controlled by Vecna at first, Max's conscience is also there in Vacna's mind, somehow El and the team found out about this and save them. Not him coming back and goes out to meet Dustin and other kids, I just want him to come back as Vecna's servant at first, then get saved at the very end of the season. Which will probably have less screen time but this is fine. I want him to be just an antagonist, and there's no communication between the kids and all, because that'll take a lot of screen time and it can easily fall into one of those cringey..fanfic writing vibes also if you focus on him too much it'll probably ruins other character's development. I want him to be hinted that he is alive at first, but not full on "He's alive!" from the start.

Eddie is controlled by Vecna, way powerful than the mind flayer and it’s spider flesh form. Almost way powerful when the mind flayer controlled Will and Billy. Eleven is the only one who can almost easily save Eddie because Vecna and Eleven almost have the same powers. Eddie turned into a Kas and didn’t get blue veins, while Will and Billy where controlled by mind flayer and didn’t turn into Kas, and they got blue veins when they were controlled. A Kas is way powerful than a mind flayer’s Henchmen.

Kas killing vecna mentioned in the first episode was just forshadowing for when we learn that 11 sent him to the upside down. 11 thought he was dead, but he came back. I do think eddie's body will be used in some way though. It's mentioned in the show that the mind flayer particles can reanimate the dead. I think there's more to the "cult of Vecna" line too.
