Y’all are awesome, and you are so right, if Elvis had ever ran for any office he definitely would have won. I became a fan before Elvis was really known. I went with my aunt to see Slim Whitman and Elvis opened for him at Overton Park. I still watch all his movies, listen to his music and will cherish all the times I was fortunate enough to see him in concert. I heard the audiobook from Lisa. She needed love so much after Elvis died and she didn’t get that love from Prissy that was clearly shown in that book. Lisamarie would have had a wonderful life if Elvis lived. Her mother took the attention off her after Elvis passed. The good that she did came from her Daddy. He was a very special human being. And so many things would be different if he lived. But while he was here ,he taught all how to live. I mean really live. He was very very special. If Lisa was so taken care of at Graceland why did she say she was smoking cigarettes there, wouldn't take a bath for 10 days when she was visiting her Dad and all the men that worked for her father were terrible, she would find Playboy magazines at the house. Linda Thompson wrote in her book how she looks back and shudders thinking how something tragic could have happened especially with little Lisa around with all the guns that were recklessly lying around Graceland. Doesn't sound like an environment that was really safe for a child.

Danny, do you think Elvis would have ever allowed Lisa Marie to be a part of that Scientology Church. It's my understanding Priscilla was the one who put her in it with the influence of John Travolta. I have read that once Elvis had gone into their building to talk with them, I'm assuming, about their religion, and when he got back into the car, he told whomever had been waiting, that all those SOB's wanted was his money. Elvis never returned. So knowing this, it's my feeling/s that Elvis would not have permitted Priscilla to put Lisa Marie into that church. Too, when Lisa was a teenager (think she tells this in her book) that Priscilla made her pack her bags in the middle of the night and she took her to Scientology and more or less dumped her off telling them to "Handle her."
