I didnt know the Kildeer were up North. I grew up in South Texas and we'd watch their antics all the time. It was one of the few birds that were safe from our pellet guns. Even as a kids we couldnt bring ourselves to shoot em since they worked so furiously to protect their nests.

A secret about air-cooled engines is that they are designed to run wide-open. That's the only reason they have all the fan shrouds so that they can get the proper amount of air pulled through the engine.

Thanks for another great video Dougo and Chet. It was interesting and informative and entertaining. Feel bad for all of you battling the wet ground and trying to get corn planting done Before any more rain. Hard to keep tillage ahead of the planters. Next will be your soybeans. Believe you said you had a few beans in the ground to include your black beans. I know what you mean Dougo when you say farming is no fun in conditions like you have now. Glad your breakdowns have been minor so far and no huge ones. Nice when you can fix it right away and keep on going. Thanks for your thoughts on farming in rough soil times Dougo. You thoughts are always appreciated and interesting. Running the new seed tender is a learning curve Dougo says. Just takes time. Hang in there. All for now I guess. You all take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

That fert tender is impressive. The one I ran this spring took about a half hour per ten ton. It was really well set up with plenty of clean outs and even had vibration for each bin. It just overwhelmed the rear auger really easy.

The air boom fertilizer spreader is a great way to spread evenly. When you use a belt trailer, do you notice that the boom spreader works better without plugging? Does the belt trailer keep the fertilizer in better condition? We use a boom spreader ourselves. Wet fertilizer chewed up by an auger fertilizer tender is not fun. Never had a belt trailer deliver to us yet. Have a great day!

I run a fishing guide guide service as a side job and I've been blowing trailer lines and motors and tires, etc. Watching you guys is inspirational. what are you are goin to do ya know. fix it and keep going. is what it is, try to make it better but stuff is going to break. Tell me about the weather - ya you know. I can't guide in this stuff. I can but people don't want to fish when it rains every darn day.
