I personally believe Dane was the major contribute to their breakup. I can appreciate the idea of "love languages", but sometimes I feel people use them to justify not meeting their partners needs or compromising when they can. Relationships take work and understanding how your partner feels and what they need and finding a way to make that happen that still preserves your needs. These comnunucation and compromise issues will still exist even when you meet someone with the same "love language". There is no ideal soulmate that can just read your mind and needs all the same things as you.

Either in sitting down and discussing how he can compensate for that issue, e.g him fixing stuff and doing things of equal effort/amount that she might hate doing/will never have to do.
