Latifi was in Red Bull on my F1 22 team save for five years and would get like 20 points a season 😂. Then he went to Merc and barely scored points every. I'm doing a my driver team and he's my teammate on McLaren and he actually won in France 😂. I haven't tried messing with him on manager but now I'm good to try.

Please try to experiment Max with Hamilton at Mercedes to see if maybe being at your natural 'home' habitat makes an advantageous difference by the driver being more comfortable or not with the affinity with his team! Playing a whole season makes it take a long time. I also agree with an experiment with both on 'neutral ground' like an experiment with both of them driving for Ferrari!

I think you should simulate a whole season in both teams. Merc and Redbull and then see what championship outcomes will be if they will be tied on titles then put them in Ferrari to test their adaptability also. Otherwise great video👌

Wonder what'll happen if you don't micromanage anything with both of them at all - NO adjusting of the pushing of the tyres, fuel & ERS at all whatsoever & pit them on the very exact tyre strategy one lap apart at most if double-stacking isn't feasible - so that it can be said as the fairest experiment - allowing you to fast-forward the race without pausing & adjusting pace so as to allow you to simulate at least half a season quickly within a day if you want a longer-term experiment!

Great watch. You try this with both of them at Mercedes with Max moving into them as number 2 driver and then a final test with Ferrari with both drivers moving into the team at the same time. Some teams have a number 1/2 preference as well as building a car around their #1 drivers. I wonder if the developers went to that level?

The small thing i hate about f1 manager is that the colorof the numbers on the car doesn’t change to the correct color (red bull has red numbers) so hamilton at rb has a yellow number and not red

Exactly, it’s more about driving style than anything. Like if Hamilton was put in the 2022 RB, he wouldn’t be at his full potential because it’s a more oversteery car, which suits Max’s style. The same if Verstappen was put in the W11, his oversteery style wouldn’t be as effective as Hamilton’s understeery style because that car was all about stability and grip.

In F1 2019 in the 3rd season of my career, both Lewis and Max ended up in the McLaren, who was at that point the 2nd fastest car. Max ended up in P3 at the end of the season, Lewis in 8th. Granted, he did have 6 DNFs to Max's 1, 5 of those from technical issues. But in qualy trim, Max beat Lewis 15-6.

@sevs beasts, yes, I agree a Max v Charles experiment will be another interesting match-up, whether at Red Bull or Ferrari or even another lower team like Alfa Romeo & Haas if the game allows it, but I feel Max will edge that rivalry in such a game experiment too. Plus, Max has a better in-game driver rating than Charles whereas Hamilton's is equal, although Max's extra edge is his growth potential is higher than Hamilton's!

In real life, if Hamilton went to Red Bull, Verstappen would win. And if Verstappen went to Mercedes, Hamilton would win. Both teams have built their cars around their top drivers and made them to suit their driving styles.
