@ Yep Maximus‘s main journey was just getting revenge mostly and he did that by killing Commodus. But Fixing Rome as a whole wasn’t something he really had time to realistically achieve seeing as he died ~5 minutes after having emperor- like powers. I’ve been trying to get this sequel off the ground for 20 years I’m just happy I finally got a chance to make it happen. Sorry if you didn’t really enjoy the film but now you kinda know where I’m coming from.
