I didn't know this song, nor have I heard much of Alicia Keys. I read few about celebrities and I'm not an American citizen. It is of course a love song, but I like the lyrics about materialistic people boasting about their possessions or for whom expensive objects are more important than human contact and friendship to bring joy in one's life. My motto in my native language is "Wie tevreden is met minder kan meer genieten van wat hij heeft" which means as much as "Who is satisfied with less can enjoy more". I searched for the original song to compare. Knowing that you only have background piano music and no complete musical arrangement to support you, and as you can only count on your own voice to make the song what you want it to be, you did very well again. Your voice is suitable for singing musicals, or in case you have no actor skills, you could lend your voice for a character in an animation movie. Let us hope that Broadway, London or Hollywood is reading this. On the other hand, you needn't be famous to enjoy what you like to do. You seem to be a catman. I have four of them that were abandonned as a kitten and I had never thought they would bring so much joy in my life. I never knew that a cat was so affectionate. Kind regards.
