So I've had my heart in brass since I first picked up a horn and this year was my freshman year in high school and I switched from trumpet to tuba for marching band and I have a horrible back so I ended up getting really hurt and knew I was going to switch at the end of the season and thought about all brass instruments and then I heard this man play the saxophone and I'm now determined to spend years of my life mastering the saxophone If you ever read this Justin. You're my inspiration

Ok I've seriously just watch about 3 hours none stop. Yes maybe a couple 2 to 3 times. I gotta say this has to be one of your best covers. Just fits so well here.

thei sax is easy to learn .. i love it . i use to play back in highschool. this makes me wanna pick it back up.. if u can read sheet music u can do it..
@Seymour557510 жыл бұрын
this is the best rendition of If i Ain"t got you on the sax and on you tube it is soulful and and has rhythm and i would buy it in a minute if only there was an instructional video that would show you step by step to play this song on the sax like he is playing it i would buy that also.
@nolansax61649 жыл бұрын
The sax is easy to learn but only hundreds of hours and a natural talent get you to Justin's level.., a simple KZbin video won't show you how to play like him but it's never too late to start learning

Some people live for the fortune Some people live just for the fame Some people live for the power, yeah Some people live just to play the game Some people think That the physical things Define what's within And I've been there before That life's a bore So full of the superficial Some people want it all But I don't want nothing at all If it ain't you, baby If I ain't got you, baby Some people want diamond rings Some just want everything But everything means nothing If I ain't got you, yeah Some people search for a fountain Promises forever young Some people need three dozen roses And that's the only way to prove you love them Hand me the world on a silver platter And what good would it be With no one to share, with no one who truly cares for me Some people want it all But I don't want nothing at all If it ain't you, baby If I ain't got you, baby Some people want diamond rings Some just want everything But everything means nothing If I ain't got you, you, you Some people want it all But I don't want nothing at all If it ain't you, baby If I ain't got you, baby Some people want diamond rings Some just want everything But everything means nothing If I ain't got you, yeah If I ain't got you with me, baby, oh, ooh Said nothing in this whole wide world don't mean a thing If I ain't got you with me, baby.

How long did it take for you to perfect your growl. I've learned how to growl, but I can't turn it off and on like you can. (I play alto)
@ace88bf9 жыл бұрын
+Jarrick Hillery the higher pitch the horn, the more difficult it is to growl like that. also, reed and mouthpiece have a large part in it.

Justin Ward i'll have to respectfully disagree. i like it behind the beat a bit - sounds more chilled and jazzy which gives it a bit of soul imho. top job man

hany84 Justin Ward I second this comment. The delay definitely adds a more jazzy feel to it! Super good.

Musically speaking i get what you're saying a hundred percent. But this performance is perfect in every way. This song is meant to be behind the beat.
