It has to be 2.1 .. not 2.0 an u have to make sure the Cable is 2.1 too. An TV an the series x. U need a TV with at least 600 nits of brightness to achieve 120 hrz at 4 k

Hi use Play & charge kits for my steam Deck & my gaming laptop on my series x I use the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra Controller it has a charge dock just like the resent Elite controller it also comes with a case that has cable pass through to charge the controller

Really comes down to your tv and how it handles things. My Samsung qled is ok with the xss. The xsx and ps5 look much better on the Samsung qled. On my msi monitor the S looks really good. On my other qled tv a tcl s5 the S looks much better than on the Samsung. Probably comes down to how they handle upscaling
