I'm sold on 303 products! I've used the Aerospace protectant for 15+ years now and living here in AZ you will not find a better UV protectant out there for your plastic, rubber, leather and dash. I've also been using the Graphene Nano Spray and the Graphene Detailer since they both came out and they will last 1 full year if you follow their directions. Super easy to apply and buff off too. All their products have been great and there's no need for the average person to have dozens of different products when these works so well and are VERY reasonably priced.
@xdrew707x Жыл бұрын
Give lithium trim serum a try. I used 303 for while but I had to keep reapplying more often. 303 works better than majority of other products though and you can buy in bulk.
@vtec350 Жыл бұрын
@@xdrew707x Thx. There's a lot of great products out there now and once I find one that works good (especially here with our heat/UV rays) I'll stick with it. That's strange you had to keep re-applying it. I apply 2 coats of the Graphene Nano spray in December and follow up every 4-5 weeks with the Graphene Detailer and can go a year here in AZ. Even then it's still beading up and shedding water like the day I applied it. Just throwing it out there but you have to make sure you shake the bottle before every spray as it settles quickly. I've had others tell me it didn't work well for them and they weren't shaking it.
@xdrew707x Жыл бұрын
@@vtec350 I agree, 303 overall is wonderful since you can apply it on many surface. I love the the 303 on rubber, I even soak my wipers once a year and they last way longer. I use it on the soft/ gasket trims. But for the hard plastic trims I use the Lithium serum. I think it works better for me because I usually use it on 2nd hand used cars where the trims are more deteriorated and needs rejuvinating. I think 303 works better if applied earlier on to preserve the surface.

Hello from the retired CPD officer from Chicago. Nice to see JESCAR UltraLock in the video lineup. I applied it along with the Colinite 845 on my 2013 Subaru Outback with 240,000 miles in November, 2022. I had to use the DA polisher to remove in October, 2023. Today, the Outback has 267,000 miles. I’ll be applying Jescar PowerLock on one-half of my hood and UltraLock on other half; it’s time to find out if the UltraLock with ceramic is worth the extra money . Both will be topped with Colonite 845. I’ll see after this upcoming 2023 winter season if UltraLock outlasts PowerLock. Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on KZbin as we surpassed 1 million subscribers and we have over 140 million views! I have been detailing for 27 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing. A new car is never new until it's properly detailed. - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example. - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat. If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well. I explain all of this in this popular video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5jSqqV5Ypp2g8U So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car for my customers: RS6 Avant Performance: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gma2gmOQfq92oJIsi=mcQiMs9HBLlaqjGK Mercedes S 580: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKLCpZmZrNesjKssi=whord2_UEFSg28UW Aston Martin Vantage: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXzKkmavj7uHp9E Volvo XC60: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqenc3Wbo82MfKM Tesla Model Y: kzbin.info/www/bejne/naDLnKZurbVohLs Porsche 911 Carrera: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJTOmpysl6ukqZY Audi Q7: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmirdHWJi9OcsK8

Reset is the regular pH7 weekly maintenance wash shampoo for ceramic coated vehicles. It helps wash the car and prevent road film accumulation. Descale is a slightly acidic pH6 shampoo and is not to be used for regular weekly washes. You would use it to remove stubborn or accumulated minerals (i.e. water spots) and accumulated road salt like in the spring, after our harsh winters. Descale is more of a "use only when needed" type shampoo. It can also help to start to break down older waxes and sealants. I love using it before a coating application. Wash the car with Descale, iron remover, clay stage if needed, machine polishing, IPA wipe, and then apply the coating. You can see how I use different pH shampoos and snow foams after my Porsche has been through winter in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYXEd3iVpZeCd9k

Pan, is there any product to remove water spots from sprinklers during regular contact washes. I wash regularly however I don't do any polishing. Thanks again for all the info and hard work!!
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
That depends how bad the water spots are, and if they started etching through the clear coat. Regular washing of the car helps prevent water spots from settling in. But if you do have some that are still present after a wash, here are tips in order of less aggressive to most aggressive. Always start with the less aggressive method first, and see if you need to step up to the next level: 1) Using an acidic shampoo designed to remove water spots and minerals. Here's a link: bit.ly/3u2KsmZ Use code BFCM20 for 20% off the website during Black Friday (starts today!) 2) If that doesn't work, use a water spot remover spray. Wash the car, then dry it. Spray the product on, let it dwell for the recommended time on the label, gently work it into the finish with a microfiber towel, then thoroughly rinse, and wash the car again to remove any left over residue. Link: bit.ly/3MTxm1X 3) If those two steps didn't work, the only solution left is machine polishing. And sometimes, the water spots etched so deep that you need to use water sanding as well, before polishing. I hope this helps. Welcome to my channel. It just revives the coating. The other product I have just started using is Mile Deep - Shield. This is a ceramic sealant applied with a snow foam lance and gives up to 6 months protection. if you put a ceramic coating on your vehicle can you use a product or should you use a product like Dry Beasley's NSP 45 on your vehicle ?
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
You would use the NSP 45 BEFORE you apply a coating. It acts as a finishing polish and as a primer, so the coating can have a stronger bond to the paintwork. You don't use polishes after you have coated a car. That would remove the coating, or damage it. Polishes contain abrasives.

There is no time limit after polishing. If you don't coat the same day, make sure the car is clean before applying the coating the next time.

I love the Gyeon wax but my fav from them is the ceramic tyre dressing - looks amazing and lasts weeks longer than standard dressings. Question - I've paint corrected my bright red paint and protected with Gyeon wax. In a month or two when it's time to reapply the wax, do I polish again first, then wax? If so, using the DA polisher with yellow pad and Rupes fine or hand polish with something else? Thanks!
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
If you use safe washing and drying techniques, you shouldn’t have to polish your car that often. Once every other year perhaps. Don’t forget that polishing removes a thin layer of clear coat each time. We want to preserve as much clear coat as possible. So in a few months, you could simply wash the car, use an iron remover to remove brake dust and then reapply a fresh layer of the wax.

I always enjoy listening to your reviews. For me, I started using Turtle Wax Spray Flex Wax and enjoyed how easy it is to apply. I get about 4 months of protection. I also like to put that second coat on after 24 hours of applying the first coat. My Black Jeep Gladiator looks great. I'd also like to comment on the Flex part of the product. I don't like using it while either washing or a couple of sprays during the drying phase. I find on my black Jeep it leaves a lot of streaking which requires me to use a damp microfiber towel.

Hello Pan, I have been following along for a few years now. I don’t remember seeing the kamikaze line mentioned . I was wondering if you tried their “no. 5” for stripping old wax and other stuff from the paint. I was also wondering if you had videos on paint preservation as many people are so consumed with 100% correction .
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
I haven't tried it yet, but I have it on order and will be testing. But I have communicated with Kamikaze to ask some details, and it's not as simple as one might think. I asked if this worked kind of like a stripping shampoo, and here was their response: "It is not exactly an alkaline traditional striping shampoo. You need to work on a crosshatch pattern with the d'Elegance wash mitt small or small sponges. You can remove any wax, spray sealant if you apply it about 5 times." And yes I did a video about the Kamikaze line many years ago here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4vUiHiem8h7ma8

If I’m going to apply a paint protectant like flex wax or titan hybrid solutions, can I use a drying aid like bead maker? Can I use any drying aid if im going to apply a paint protectant?
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
If you are going to apply paint protection, avoid using a drying aid prior to applying the protection. To ensure the best bond between the product and the clear coat, it’s always best to prep the clear coat as best you can. Washing, iron remover, clay bar, machine polishing and last a wipe with a paint prep spray to remove polishing oils and residues, and then you apply the protection. That gives the best results for performance and durability. Once you are done applying the protection, let one or two weeks go by and then you can start washing your car again and start using drying aids.

I also found that if you get it on trim it doesn’t turn the trim white which is a huge time saver. Combine it with the lake country pad washer, Orange pad and it’s an amazing one step. If it’s a softer paint that tends to get more marring I’d go for a yellow rupes pad.

If you have a five year coating and you’re a year into it and it seems to have lost its properties, do a decon wash, and that should restore its properties. Pan is short for Pandelis. My dad is Greek. PPF and ceramic coatings are two different types of protection. Usually, people that apply PPF for stone chip protection and scratch protection apply a ceramic coating on top for self cleaning properties, UV protection, gloss, slickness and chemical resistance. They are complimentary. Ceramic coatings don’t protect against scratches or swirls or stone chips.

Pan, I just leased a Model Y and have been debating a ceramic coating (3y)or waxing regularly. Can you wax ( full clay at treatment etc. ) and then apply some 3abd 1 on top? Is it worth getting a ceramic coating? I also own a 2018 model 3 with PPF on the front. Can I clay bar that and coat it with ceramics?
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
In my opinion, a ceramic coating is the best form of protection. I would get that over a wax for sure. Traditional carnauba waxes only last 1-3 months. A good coating will last for years. I don't know what "3 abd 1" is though. Is that a typo? For some inspiration, see the Model Y full detail video I made here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/naDLnKZurbVohLs Be very careful if you have to clay PPF, as clay is abrasive, and you might have to polish afterwards. Instead, I'd recommend a synthetic clay towel which is much less likely to mar the surface. Here are a few good choices: amzn.to/470KSJB bit.ly/3O8D5AS amzn.to/3O4cULx
