I'm pretty new to league altogether. I've been maining Malz because I got him with my first champ shard. After that I only play Diana tbh

Malz keeps getting shafted by item and other system changes. He was kneecap to the mythic Liandry's... and then for half a year was not given a DoT legendary with mana and AH. (And even now BFT is fairly weak.) He does not do damage despite being a DPS champion. He can barely make it through lane against a lot of champions because of his poor base stats. (Melees just shrug off pretty much all of his damage while he ends up having no mana left IF he choses to try and poke the melee.) He is just overall undertuned and not really a champion until his fourth item... which tends to be a bit after he peeks in usefulness in a game. (And he can be completely shut down and made vulnerable with one item.)

I lowkey think if malz just gets like a rework on maybe his abilites etc, and becomes more popular, the champion wouldnt be as gutted.... riot literally only cares about the highly played champs.... its sad

@prophetmalzahar I would be happy if they upped his: MS; AA range; and AS (similar to how other mage's got an AS buff so that they can stop taking the AS shard). Also: His R does damage at a different rate than his E for some reason... so that should be fixed. (Ideally... E should stick every ⅕ or ⅛ or a second.)

After seeing the horrible rework Viktor will be getting, i am scared of what they will do with Malzahar when eventually he gets reworked, if they are butchering viktor visuals AND not even changing his kit that is just as "meh" as Malzahars, imagine what our void prophet will become? i am trully, trully scared for the future Cause, like, i find malza kit to be cool, the skills are cool af, its just the numbers that sucks fucking BALLS, he has shit scaling and do half of what all the other mid laners do, viktor is the same, has a cool kit and design but he fucking sucks with the numbers
