Fun Fact: Even if you managed to avoid EVERY ring in S3&K, except the ones in special stages since I don’t think they don’t add to the ring count, if you happened to get all the emeralds and super emeralds to do stuff like completing ALL the levels for the challenge, you’d lose at doomsday zone since you start at 50 rings. Even if we don’t count those, on a casual play through you’d NEED to get more rings to win the fight.

I think only Zelda 1 and Twilight Princess becomes impossible but for the 2D games it really requires knowing what chest has what. Zelda 2 has no currency so it'd be a forced full game. Also the CD-I technically use "Rubies" as it's a different country
