Oh, I feel your pain, I also have SAD so having Vitamin D and getting as much sun exposure is good. I’m also in Canada but we don’t have snow here yet.

I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, Ilythia. I increased my vitamin D years ago and it did help my mood. A few years ago, I bought a therapy light from Amazon and I love it! We were hit with a snow storm yesterday and I was forced to get my boots out, yuck! Haha

Maybe try a daylight therapy lamp, I have the same problem on the dark days. I use a daylight (without uv) therapy lamp every morning for 20 minutes. For me that really works. It helps reduce melatonin in your body, this should help with your symptoms.

I think a lamp would help you. Either thst or you move to a warm country. Lol. I know being a Canadian from Ontario Canada it can get pretty depressing in the winter. But you in Saskatchewan you get colder faster and earlier than us. We still have fall weather but it’s cold today only 5 but sunny. I know myself my mood is affected by the weather. I need sun. I’m a summer girl all the way. Using your vitamin D may help as well.
