Good advice. On the subject of being distracted by your computer, what works for me is that I use a different computer for music production than I do for work, email, games, etc. It’s a computer that’s solely dedicated to production and it’s on a different side of the room than the computer I use for everything else. If I open up a browser it’s because it has to do with something I’m doing like reading how to do a thing in my daw. It really helps to not be distracted.

Thanks! That’s a good idea. Funny you mentioned that, I’m going to build a new PC soon so maybe I’ll do something similar.
