It felt like you were speaking directly to me. I’ve been copywriting for 7 months now, I’ve taken a million courses and literally every job that comes my way. Feature articles, social media, email marketing, website copy etc. and every new job I take I feel more overwhelmed and confused. Such good advice and il be implementing all of it! Thank you

I´ve heard recently from a neuroscientist professor that first we must learn how to make (smart) decisions. This definitely low our stress level and help us design a path and a plan. We are NOT going to do everything!

How important is it to ask the client for analytics about how the copy performed (ie- open rates, etc). I have some work samples to start my portfolio but the client ended our working relationship before I could see the implementation of the writing (email sequence). Thoughts?

Hi Alex. I am really enjoying your videos. I am a qualified physiotherapist, looking at changing careers and starting freelance copywriting in the health and fitness industry. I have a question that I'd love to hear your thoughts on if possible. For my USP do you think it is too broad for me to generally say I help 'businesses in the health and fitness industry', rather than focussing down even more specifically e.g. coaches/trainers, gyms, or sports clubs? Thanks for your time 😀
@AlexCattoni2 жыл бұрын
Exactly! "Businesses" is super general. You'll have an easier time attracting your ideal clients if you call them out directly - so saying "coaches", "gyms", etc.!

Hey Alex I am confused about a question is there are many formula for sales copy for apply but when and what is the right position and place to apply these formula and will we have to use all the formula for a one copy ?
@AlexCattoni2 жыл бұрын
There are tons of formulas out there :) however they are not meant to be used the exact same way for everything that you write. More than anything they act as "guides" to remind you what core components you need to include, etc.

Hi Alex, I like writing, and it seems that copy-writing has sparked creative excitement within me, but I do notice that the way I write can sometimes be unclear, and I find it a bit hard to take the ideas from inside my mind and structure them into really good writing. I notice flaws in my own writing and I am wondering if learning copy-writing can help create more cohesion and make it easier to write? or would I need to source a different course to improve my over all writing ability as well as study copy-writing? I hope this has made sense ! thank you very much your videos and your time !

I can relate to all of them. However, the step #1: Slow mornings is a piece of advice that can make mothers mad. I try and try, I used various techniques (getting up early to get MY morning --> failed because it is not compatible with "working late at night after they finally sleep"); use the morning as mommy-and-me time (failed because the kids are terribly fussy in the morning) or have MY morning after they are gone (failed, because I can work without interruption until 12:30PM, no time for MY morning). I try to integrate 5 minutes, a simple prayer at the open window, few minutes of yoga and drinking coffe. But... I wish for more and envy anytone who can get that 😀

I love your content, and it’s been super helpful for me! Being part of the posse has put a lot in perspective and has helped me a lot! This was a great video, and I also hoped you would go more into what you did and didn’t do during your first year. Steps 1 and 2 made sense, but around step 3 it sounded like it was less about your specific journey and more general advice. Were steps 3-5 things you didn’t do during your first year? Or was it something about the way you did them you would do again? And did you start doing them in 2013 and that’s how at the end you got your income? You might have a video or blog post about that as well, so I’ll take a look. Thank you!
