Max is so fucking badass. He put out one of the coolest records this year with Say Anything, and idk if this was on their terms or not, but it seems like it's gotten hardly any press and barely anyone is interviewing these guys right now. It blows my mind, and I miss seeing interviews with him about the music, and I've basically just been watching reviews of I Don't Think it Is just to fill that emptiness :( I miss you Max, I can't wait for an opportunity to support you guys live. Props to AP for always shining a light on spectacular musicians, regardless of their current pop status or trendiness or whatever. I mean yeah the covers are always the bigger names, but there's always at least a page or section in an issue dedicated to the smaller folks that are grinding it out trying to make it, and I've always appreciate that about AP. I saw one featuring Car Seat Headrest and it blew my mind. Keep it up.
